A balisosaurus will always be surrounded by some mantas(I haven’t actually counted how many, but it is a decent amount), aka. The death pancakes. If you are swimming nearby/attack the balisosaurus, the mantas will attack you. However, if you best the mantas and the giant whale, you can get a lot of oil and hide(with blubber as an exclusive win if you choose).

In crystal isles, these guys spawn in the tropical beach area in the southwest of map, it’s not common, but they can. Arrow so people can see this
Just takes two max levels. Mating pair. I killed the mantas with my tek bow then went in for the tame. First time and I thought it was easy 🤷♀️
Watch out for its manta cult.
Why does all the mantas attack me when im riding an dolphin?!?! And why i cant feed it meat whitout unriding it?!?! Up if you don't know why.
In real life these were vicious carnivores that would have killed and eaten a human on sight and lived mostly in shallow waters and swam up rivers looking for food they were also twenty metres long, good thing the developers didn't make them more realistic or crossing rivers would be a dream until you have a flyer.
Was swimming and i see this and the mantas start attacking me and my meg and sadly he died upv0t3 so my meg can rest in peace
Seems everything flocks to it mantas and icthy, be careful while swimming near cause they can body block you and you be killed.
Take a Baryonyx or a powerful swimming creature to kill off the Manta's and then go in for the tame
