The reason there are still basilisks on crystal isles is because there were crystal rock drake but before the map got released they took them of and forgot the basilisk

I just tamed a lvl 6 basilisk with only one rock Drake egg. Please like this is my first time doing this.

Anyone know if we can tame with wyverne crytal egg ?

You want to run around it in a Drake after dropping an egg, it should shoot 3 balls at you, lose agro do it little taunt thing and then slither over and eat the egg, wait 2.30 mins and repeat. Also if you let it burrow underground the effectiveness will drop along with the taming bar so either keep a spare egg on you or ways keep it's agro.

Tame these underwater. They won’t aggro and they stay very still. Eat eggs immediately.

If you're having problems with the basilisk name your character Harry Potter and you will be immune to all damage done by it!

Guys in gen 2 you can probably tame with managmr eggs instead

Im on Xbox on crystal isles and it says for dododex they only eat Rockdrake and magmasaur eggs either of which you can't get does anyone know if they eat rex eggs even if I got to feed a bunch will it work?

Does it work if you use rex eggs instead ? If so how many compared to a Rockdrake egg lol I'm on xbox

The basilisk has about 1000 torpor so it’s easy to put down if you want to check it’s stats before you tame it

How to not waste time breeding and getting eggs: find a basilisk and tame it, if you want to breed repeat with a different gender basilisk

You can use Fertilised Wyvern eggs to tame one, easier to get than the other eggs.

How can u tame these in crystal isles ITS LITERALLY UNTAMABLE ON THIS MAP THERE AINT NO DRAKE NESTS AND MAGMASAUR NESTS JUST REMOVE IT FROM THE MAP IF U CANT TAME IT IN THIS MAP.

These small, cute snakes make a great first tame. Any new players looking for an easy first tame I highly recommend these guys. Just look for a pile of dirt with two teeth pointing out of it and knock it out with a club and some berries. Good Luck!!

You can only tame them with rock drake eggs. Get a ravaged with high enough health, drop all the eggs together and run around for a while with the Basilisk. It is not a guarantee that it w il eat an egg as it passes over it. But with more eggs the chances increase tremendously.
