To tame a basilisk you will need high quality weapons and armour and you may need to knock it out without killing it

Simple passive tame, walk up to it with some raw meat, and you'll have it in a couple seconds.

I don’t know how but here’s what I know: get a shoulder mount and find the basilisk, it will aggro the shoulder mount and do no damage and put it under a foundation and change the foundation to block and feed it rockdrake eggs, that’s what I know and have read sorry if it doesn’t work but hope it helps
