I tamed a level 145 basilisk and it’s damage it does per hit is 78226.5

Has anyone noticed that these things and titanaboa can go from being tiny slither noodles to massive monster snakes why does their size vary so much

Basilisks get nerfed after tame, or atleast for me on UME. I tamed a level 108, it had 9900 HP in the wild but when tamed it went down to 6600. That means basilisks lose a third of their health (and possibly other stats) after tame.

Hop on a spino go close with eggs in your inventory. Throw put egg and basilisk will eat eggs. Repeat until fully tamed.

Best way to tame this. Is don’t , it takes rockdrake eggs which would be better spent hatching
