Trap suggestion: what my tribe and Inalways do is setup a permanent trap to leave unlocked for anyone to use. We place a behemoth gate and then regular dino gates to make a half circle from one side of the behemoth to the other kinda like this β> ID the I being the behemoth and the D being the dino gates. Kite it in through the behemoth, shut it and make sure all the dino gates are open on atleast one side. Toss your eggs in and stand BARELY outside of bite range. This will keep it constantly aggrod. Then you literally just stand there the entire time itβs taming. Now and then if you choose to step in to look at the taming bar feel free and go back outside of its bite radius again once done.

I donβt want to sound like a smartasss but wouldnβt be more efficient to email wildcard to make them eat crystal eggs instead of in the Dododex?
WHY IS THIS THING A PASSIVE TAME I DO NOT WANT THIS TO BE AWAKE WHEN I FEED IT
Throw a shoulder pet (bulbdog) and make it passive,
Put a foundation on top of it and change it to block,
Throw the rock drake eggs near the foundation
Go and aggro the basilisk it will agro on your bulbdog but never het it, set back and watch big snake boy eats the eggs while trying to hit your shoulder pet
I tamed 3 basilisks in a raw while afk watching YouTube with this method π
Basilisks can now be tamed with fert magmasaur eggs!
Please wildcard, make these guys able to eat crystal wyvern eggs. Why else add them to crystal isles? For noobs to be killed a lot?

id recomend using a invisible rock drake throw a shoulder pet or somthig you dont care about indfront of it let the basilisk kill it and then drop the egg on the corpse of the dead animal and watch your new basilik eat up the eggs then its tamed!!!
