Really easy tame as the starve time is 1/5th of the torpor, can survive unconscious under water and can be immobilised with a bola.

Highly suggest upgrading movement speed and melee damage because the health is okay and you can stun and run

Try not to feed this dino raw fish meat. It has a very poor effectiveness rating. So before taming this dino make sire you have access to raw prime fish meat or kibble.

Quite easy to pick out the swap. Ive tamed 2 so far using the argen. They may nip u once then leave you be. They do have a spawn rate with lower levels but if you fly around a bit you will find 1 or 2 high levels. Ive found a 120 lvl female and 90 male. This is on the island. Ive noticed the higher levels tend to be around the edges of the swamp that borders the redwood. Speedy and also efficiant killing machines. Im currently breeding them which will be interesting.

For the Baryonyx level 120 you just need 26 raw prime fish meat (no 61)

These creatures are useful for taming if you do their tail whip it doesn’t do damage and it just slows down the creatures your taming

The complete guide to taming a baryonx: 1. Find a baryonyx ideally away from the swamp and one more near the beach 2. Craft atleast 2 bola because they might escape the bola before you knock them out 3. Craft a wooden club and a weapon of your choice 4. Wait till the baryonx is away from the water 5. Have a fish massacre kill all the fish u can find 6. Bola the Barry and hit with wooden club till knocked out 7. Transfer about 50 fish meat into inventory and wait 8. Name it and bring it home 9. Destroy every enemy you meet with your discount spino

Your probably dead unless you are high level with good stuff then it's easy. Traqs will work to knock it out.
