Remember to only use kibble or prime fish meat on barys because regular fish meat ruins the taming effectiveness, which is something I learned the hard way. But nevertheless, the bary is an amazing creature even without the extra levels. My green bary named Shrek is quite OP

When I fed it regular fish the taming effectiveness went down every time it ate

These things are fast in water and fast on land and do decent damage

knocking out a lvl 11 only took me one tranq arrow from a ramshackle crossbow, but they are piscivores which means they only eat fish, which makes them a little bit easier of a tame, overall decent power especially in water, would recommend.

How to tame: First, Tranq arrows or tranq + rifle. Then get fish meat. Find it, tranq, feed. Also forgot to mention bola lol. Ok now you can go compare this dino with spino and steal spinos spine and put it on baryonyx.

Oof: to oof you need spino. Chomp rip baryonyx.

Hang on, it’s says that a argy can’t pick it up, when on mobile I use my argy Flicker to farm tame these things!

Don't bola them please u will die just don't instead shoot with tranq arrows run shoot again and repeat till it falls cuz these guys are faster than raptors not to mention there pretty fast underwater too so no running or swimming will help prime meat or kibble recommended for timing or just normal fish and some amount of kibble make sure too keep some spare narcotics as well cuz they wake up faster than u can tame them

These creatures are useful for taming if you do their tail whip it doesn’t do damage and it just slows down the creatures your taming

Studio Wildcards made the stupid decision to make it so you can't bola these guys anymore. Because why not screw over the players? What they do best with their "balances" and "updates."

They are easy to knock out at levels 8 and under they take a few tranqs to knock out do not feed them meat feed them fish meat they are good Dinos and I love that they can swim

don’t be like me, i sat there for 39 minutes wondering why the barry wasn’t taming with raw prime meat.

If you need to, use a 4 by 4 wood doorway trap with ramps on the side and use your friends as bait and then when it comes jump into the box and go out the door. Then tranq arrows should be good.

When your at the level to go to brute cave use a net projectile they are fast and use a crossbow in case it’s under water. Hope this helped🙂

If you are switching baryonyx through servers you can not breed aberrant baryonyx with regular ones

Take a carb and attack it with tranqu arrows

Pull out your best Crossbow and bolas, sit on a good rock and hit it in the face with bolas. Tranq it out and stuff fish up its butt. Easy! (Disclaimer: when wild, keep away from water)

So I tamed 2 lvl 30 I know bad lvl but I got a breeding pair and when I hatched the 1 egg I got triplets but what sucks is that they all were male

Don't put baryonyx babies near carnivore babies to raise them. The others will eat all the fish first from the trough and your baryonyx will starve to death very quickly.
