Actually not too difficult to tame one time it was either stuck or passive to me I found one near the green obelisk and I was on a higher elevation than it and it was not too hard to tame

I took once to tame a bat. In the lava cave. The dangerous lava cave. I NEARLY knocked out a bat when a centipede knocked me into the lava. RIP: Leafclaw

They like a ton of fish meat and some are very fast

This thing can kill megs. A quick stun and you have some lunch! I pump melee damage into mine. Another tip is to lure something into water and stun it. In theory you coul d stun lock and kill literally anything. EVEN GIGAS!!!

They’re Fast n Deadly they can stun lock u n they can be bolad

If you stumble upon one make sure your a higher level than 28 so that if the thing comes to you you can just box it to death but make sure not to do it in water cuz it’ll stun and drown you

Easy to tame at lowish levels all you have to do is bola them and if you don’t have traqulizer arrows just bat it

They are REALLY good for doing caves and they can get a TON of fish meat really easy.

If you’re having difficulty or getting bored waiting for it to get out of the water just hop off your Argy and shoot it, then immediately hop back on and carry it to your taming pen :)

Note that only fish meat can give them a health boost. Tried feeding mine normal meat but she wouldn’t gain health from it.

I'd keep away from these in water. I thought it could be helpful to give some spawn locations. The island:red Woods, writhing swamp.ragnarok:swamp near castle and one near blue ob.the center:swamp and red Woods area.i don't know about abberation or extinction please up this if u want others to see. Also remember to carry Bolas at all times for these and raptors!

These guys can’t swim straight up or down, they go up at in incline, so watch your oxygen stat when riding into deep ocean, it will take longer to surface. Whirlpool attack is good tho, and also makes a great name

If you encounter one, know that you need at least %170 movement speed to outrun it. A better option is just using a bola.

Must have for PvP. I play single player, and was out hunting on my new spino. I attacked one and it spun me off my spino. Therefore, lure poeple to water and knock them off any mount. Haven't tested with my Rex or brontos yet, and won't.

Get the baryonyx at a high level and farm meat

AWESOME mount, can take down carnos, raptors, therizinos, megalodons,

Sarcos,titanoboas and any underwater creatures, has no oxygen,gets

LOADS of fish meat and prime fish meat,best swamp mount and finally

Improve its health to about 3k and it can take down almost anything!

When taming its pretty easy because it gets affected by bolas.

A great first tame!

My friend and I were in the cave in dead island, I rode a baryonyx, he had a dire bear. We cooked the cave with our tames level 50-70. My favorite Dino because of its versatility. It traverses that cave very easy, anger in and out with no problem especially with its jump. By far my go to because of how good it is in land water and caves.

They are easy biolad(me not know how spell)and then You can put them beat them or tranq arrow them make sure to eaither be near a river or he ocean for the fish meat DONT tame in spawmps they will die unless you have an army

Good tame if your low level. Make sure you have two to three bolas and have your slingshot with you. Have at least 40-50 stones. Get to a cliff ledge and begin pelting it with stones. (The cliff doesn’t have to be high, just enough for him/she to get stuck.) Throw a bola after firing a few stones and then fire again. This helps you hit the bary easily without it moving. When unconscious, make sure to feed it fish and narco. Shouldn’t take too long to tame.

If u go after 1 be careful can knock u out and kill u so make 3 stone piller high and a ceiling on top with the ladders going down so you can climb up it then afterwards and just stand up there in the tower and Trank it until it runs if u need any help text me on insta @tae_derricott
