The best way to think of a baryonyx is as a spino’s little cousin. It has less speed and strength, but it is relentless in its attack. It also can unleash a stun, which gives it differentiation from a spino.

From all My encounters with a baryonyx ive noticed that they are kinda different than other dinosaurs ( might just be my game but idk) they don’t really attack you for like 5 seconds and then they stop they don’t really attack other Dino’s around it so all I do to escape is just run for 7 seconds and it’s not chasing me anymore. To battle it just bola it and then attack it from behind, you may need 1 bola or more

Great for cave exploration on land or underwater and generally a solid dino.

Its simple stand out of the barrys range but just far enogh that the arrow can reach

one time i saw a baryonyx i went near it and there was a spino and they KILLED ME..

You can find one at one of the easy places in the Conner of teh small island and if your brave enough you can tame it when your higher lvl when I go into that easy place I always see one so when you want one go ti te easy place thing not easy 3 tho but just go to easy 2 or 1 idk which one for a easier barxony and not going to the swamp and getting leech’s and swamp fever alos only in mobile I have seen them in that place

They can be stopped with a bola, so use a bola when trying to tame them!

2 idiots killed 2 of my Baryonyx. Now I’m going for more taming with my Baryonyx as long as I’m not too lasy! I wish I could go back home.

Just tamed a lvl.112 it's so simple

1.make a basic ramp and doorframe trap (I recommend to make the doorframes two high)

2. Make about 70 trank arrows (depends on the level)

3.lead it into the trap and knock it out

4.feed prime or normal fish meat(WILL NOT EAT NORMAL MEAT)

5. Done! You now have a Baryonyx!

Note: saddle requires 25 metal and is unlocked at level 39.

Also guys remember they are just TERRITORIAL. They only attack you if you come near them.

Barrys are the best! I just unlocked a saddle today for mine called Technoblade, and me and my bro went out exploring and found another which I tamed. They jump so far and swim well, speed is good, attack is awesome. Several times was almost killed by Theries but turned around and killed them easily. Definitely get one of you can.

These are the best tame in the game certainly. They are very fast on both land and water, and are incredibly agile. They are pretty easy tames early on if found at low level, so by the time you get the saddle, you have a very high level one, so they will be very affective on both land and water.

U can carry these guys with argy! (At least in mobile u can)
