They scary when you in water they will kill your tame you anyone in sight be careful

These bad boys can stun lock you in the water, so if possible make sure you are on land when taming or fighting them.

They are fish die makers who exist only to ruin runs until they are tamed and then they exist to protect you and only you

I don't know what people think of the baryonyx but it's definitely a good tame. People make all these traps for dinos like the trex but all you need is a fast baryonyx with good stamina and a couple of truanq darts and i got myself a level 22 trex. Also if you can pull it off you can bunny jump and go really fast.

When i was a newbie i got my first barry and decided to go to a cave since i was a newbie didn't expect that there would be so many titano and other shits in there, i was bitten by so many creatures in there and got unconscious and died, after waking up in my base i got confused of what should i do(I'm newbie that time i didn't know what to do) I've tried everything hoping that i could save my barry and turns out you can request your tame to come closer to you, after some time i got my barry back but she's unconscious.. well at least she's alive and didn't follow my raptor who died in swamp :(

If ur a high enough level get rifle and trank darts and it is like 4 hits if a low level and then just put a bunch or any fish meat or kibble they prefer pachyrino kibble

Items you need. Bola x 1 club x 1 raw fish meet x 42 spear x 1 step one bola it step two knock it out with club step three hunt mega piranha and coelacanth with spear (also bring axe and pickaxe if your spear breaks)with fish meat feed baryonyx till it is tamed. And voila now you have a tamed baryonyx.

This Guy can fit in through most cave entrances, use this guy to (Don't forget to level him up a bit) smash through all of the cave enemies

Does baryonyx only eats fish when tamed? Up for yes down for no.

Get at least 200 or more health And then you can just tranq Arrow in the head while they try to kill you. Works for a level 28 and I haven’t tested higher

Your best bet at taming one of these is to build a small pit-fall nearby and lead it inside (Baryonyx are very fast, so make sure you can outrun it. Otherwise, a Pteranodon may do the trick.) Use a crossbow and tranq arrows to knock it out. They are pescatarians, so make sure you have plenty of fish meat to tame them, but keep in mind that this will take much longer than other methods. It is highly recommended to use their prefered kibble, however it may not be readily available. Prime fish also does the trick pretty well, which is relatively easy to farm off of Coelacanth and Sabertooth Salmon with the metal sickle.

Once tamed, a Baryonyx will absolutely change the way you play the early/mid-game. They are amazing swimmers, lack an oxygen stat (they can stay underwater indefinitely) and have a tail-whip ability that can stun nearby enemies underwater, making them great for exploring the oceans without fear of a megalodon attack. Unfortunately, without any levels in your own oxygen stat, you won't be able to ride them for very long underwater before beginning to suffocate. They harvest a lot of fish meat and some biotoxin, which can help with taming other dinos.

Not better then a spino but it is pretty good at killing and very good in cave runs so use them in caves so my tip is to use them in caves way better then a spino in a cave cuz a spino can’t fit in must caves
