GREAT STARTER. When I was a newbie in ark mobile, this was the Dino that carried my adventure, this Dino is a good traveler, and fighter especially when your at a low level. they might be hard to find but extremely worth it. A must tame 8/10

When taming you want to make a 3by 3 trap that’s 3 door ways high lead in with ramp then tranq and feed prime fish meat

2024 update: Use ONLY fish meat while raising Bary babies... I left raw meat in two babies, left for two seconds, and they dropped like flies.... I automatically assumed any raw meat would do, but they didn't even make it to 0.3% maturation.... So, ONLY fish meat TO BE safe. Good luck!

I just got this Dino recently today, and it because I never thought about taming one until a YouTuber pointed out that it heals quickly with fish meat and how it fast and easy to travel the map quickly. I definitely not going to pass on taming them from now on.

Of course I tamed a lvl 2 which lvled up super fast after killing fish and few land creatures. Took out a lvl 30 raptor with easy and group of troodons

heres some tips for beginners(mobile edition🎆)

1/- u can find baryonyx on all swamp,river places its easy to find them as most of the time there in the surface instead of underwater

2/- you can bola them(30 seconds stun then after that countdown run because it has a 10 seconds cooldown until u can bola it again)

3/- never fight a bary on deep waters even if its a medium to i think large tame(carnivore or herbivore)the bary can stun it for 10 seconds effectively and can stun you too when in reach

4/- barys are great for cavings especially the caves that has waters as the bary can use its skill(tail sweep)so it can give u an high chance of winning

5/-(last tip) barys attacks aree…standard bite

skill(tail sweep)only works on deep waters if u use it on ground the bary will just growl or roar it is one of the only medium carnivores that can jump

How to tame Baryonx on mobile

You wil need :fish meat a saddle bola and tranq or tranqiltzer darts

When you found your Baryonx bola it knock it with tranqs

Feed it the fish and done you have a Baryonx!

(to my other tip) I just remembered the aberrant baryonyx existed but I’m still curious on what an X or R bary would look like.

I think they should give the bary a variant. Like x or R. It’s still a good dino and I don’t think it NEEDS one but I’m just curious on how to see what it would look like.
