So true story, I was walking in the swamp trying to make my way to the redwoods and got attacked by a sarco. It jumped at me and I was being grabbed by the sarco and then a wolf baryonyx came and killed it. All I had in my inventory was a pile and crossbow, but I always carry tranquilizer arrows😈. So I left with no tames and came home with no tames because THE BARYONYX KILLED ME IN TWO HITS!

A watched with my own eye a level 44 Bary take on a level 23 rex and win. Either low level rex are bad or Baryonyx is good.

I was doing the lava cave with my bary but the game lagged SO MUCH my bary failed the jump i got the artifact tho but guess what? I GOT A TERRIBLE PIKE AND TERRIBLE FUR BOOTS AND GLOVES LIKE WTH MY BARY DIED AND I GET TERRIBLE REWARDS?!?! 3 OF MY BARYS DIED CUZ OF THE LAVA CAVE

I was in south zone 1 and I was level 13 and I went to get some fish meat to see if you could tame icthys with it THERE WAS NOTHING IN THE WATER I TURN AROUND AND A BARY KILLED ME I respawned at my bed and I whistled my parasaur raptor and 3 silos at it and they all died

Every play through I’ve done(I’m on switch btw) I always pick south zone 1 and there is always a baryonyx in that little alcove and it has killed me at least once every time

I wanted to tame one so I tried guess what happened I took my bola and threw it and made it stuck my punches where’t strong info so I used a spear and I ended up killing it
