I was on my game in the water you know killing jelly fish and stuff and next thing you know I am thrown off my tame and stunned it then killed my tame then stunned me again and preformed a finisher on me if your gonna battle them do it on land these are deadly in the water

If your early game and see this around your base take my advice and move its the dinos territory now

One of these evil beings killed my first flying dino

Never get in the water with them if they do the spin move you get stunned and then they eat you alive

For a bary you need a long neck rifle with five tranquilizer darts, and it as pretty easy cause all you need is 200 health and a trap.

Encountered this guy in the water, was scared to approach but when it attacked me my 70lvl parasaur jumped in the water and killed the lvl 57 baryonyx.

Don't know why ppl complain about their strongest dinos dying..

I was trying to access a supply drop that was in water and I didn't know I wasn't a high enough level. So what a Coincidence as soon I as I click on the supply drop, a baryonx starts attacking me. I died of course so I was from then on afraid of supply drops.

Cant throw bola on it anymore or my pc is just bad

These spawn in rivers in the red wood the big rivers only and swamps

This is your semi aquatic semi land Dino of choice, these fellas are an easy tame if you happen to find one near a large rock, they only eat fish (NOTE: THEY DO NOT GET AFFECTED BY NORMAL BOLAS ANYMORE) these guys will be useful for taming basilosaurus! If your encountering one and killing it, any gun will be effective.

I was with my two female dilos and a female came out of no where and killed me, I raced back to save my dilos and I couldn’t find my lvl 29 dilo female bloodMoon, only venom was there, I searched before finding her dead she was a wonderful dilo 😥, the female baryonyx is still wandering my world, she was lvl 3!!! I am very cautious to go anywhere near the place where my dilo was killed.

When I first Encountered I assume it was dangerous Because I observe it and this dino killed two trikes

So I wanted to tame it bc i heard it was worth it.

So I took my crossbow and a some tranq arrows, went to a high cliff where it wont kill me. Just where I had my sights on it. A F***ING Carbo (Those turtles walked over me and push me off to the water right next to the baroynx.

You may think its the end of me. But no, the dino hit me but I didnt stun me (I think). I hit the beast with my tranq crossbow below its belly so the it cant bite me. And I made it unconcious from just two shots to say the least I was lucky from that and you may too as well. I survived this in underwater and took down the dino and now its tamed and I called it "The Baron" because its name sounds "Baryon"yx.

I had one and he is an absolute legend and I lost I in the night. Next morning I died to an alpha raptor.

I found a level ten I shot with 4 tranq arrows,I thought it was my lucky day...than his level 140
