My absolute favorite tame. They run fast, swim fast, kill fast, level fast. Just an all around great mount.

Bola, knock it out, tame with fish. After that they'll eat any meat.

If u encounter this in the water say bye to ur tame cause it's dead I learnt this the hard way with my beaver

If you're a beginner, use An Ascedant bow and a couple of Tranq arrows.

1: first get about 15 tranq arrows

2:then find one and if it is in the water DO NOT GO IN THE WATER Wait for it to come out and shoot it

3:now give it fish meat

be super careful because i went somewhere with a megalodon with like 1,200 hp it was at lvl 19 i was at lvl 79 and it almost took out the megalo. i had to respawn twice to take it out. they're evil, don't die :]

Use a bola on these guys then shoot it in the head like so starters can see this

This is the best tame for when you reach level 8, fast, deadly, and will save you time from hitting dodos with an axe. When you reach level 8 throw bola at it and knock it out quickly with club or pickaxe. Make sure to lower its health but not too much. Tip: Raptors will kill it if there are multiple raptors. So when raptors nearby turn the baryonyx to passive or neutral. So it runs away with you (they are faster than raptors)

You can pick them up Argy(only tested on ark mobile single player)

I have a triceratop about 50 lvl he was in passive I come down from my trike and the Barry come and attack my trike I wanted to kill but I tamed that Barry my trike get only 100 damage my trike health is 1000 only 900 remain hahahahaha mfs weak Barry

Tamed by standing on the back oka Rex. When it started running I chased it on the Rex to get in the last few shots. Got 2 high level tames without dying.

Knocked lvl 145, and for some reason he was fully starved and got more lvls. he was 1-20 hp and i was tranqing him whenever he had more hp then my arrows dmg. hope it helps

The baryonx can preserve items/food in its inventory for 40 extra minutes than in your human’s inventory (Around 40).

Just have an tanky tame nearby like an sarco on passive and that's what i did then I tranqed it out and book an noice baryonyx no traps needed sarcos are even easier to tame I revomond atlewst an level 36 sarco to tame them
