Oh why. Why does this have to happen to me EVERY SINGLE F*CKN TIME. I spawn in sp. I build a nice house. I get some tames. AND THEN A BARY SPAWNS AND KILLS ALL MY TAMES AND EVERY TIME I RESPAWN AT MY BED IT KILLS ME AGAIN. WHY. WHY. WHY. WHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY

Good creature for getting tons of fish meat, and silica pearls. I recommend this for a starter water mount, and it will still be good to use later game. A must-tame creature

I have always found bx in the big south river. If you want to get the best cave tame you could want for most of the game, then get

1. 10-15 tranq arrows, just in case there is a high level or you have sheit aim like me

2. A bola or a mount with a good bit of health and you can shoot off its back

3. A calm soul so you don’t crap yourself when it comes at you

Now to explain the way to do this:

It’s a good idea to bring the saddle already made, and the plus of doing it in the river is you can go get some tasty fresh fish- prime fish. My preferred mount is the trike, high health and good weight, as well as the ability of beating the crap out of anything. Then let it attack the trike while you shoot it from on top your mount. It might run, then let it come back. You don’t need to chase it. Then shoot it again, and BAM! You can now actually explore lower south cave after the entrance!

Encountering one will be somewhat easy because they live in the swamp basically around water. And in the redwoods by the volcano.

To tame a bary can be easy and hard because if you are taming on panda will make it easier for you to tame it but in water I recommend tame it on land. Use bolas and tranq arrows or a wooden club to knock it out. If you get it raw meat to tame it won't work. So tame it with the preferred kibble or raw fish or cooked fish.

Great for travel. High movement speed on land AND in water, amazing stam, and can SHRED anything it comes across. (Obviously except Gigas, Tusos, Titantos, and MAYBE a Mosa)

Just tamed TWO of these bad boys, awesome animal to have when exploring far from home and need good protection. Just don’t attempt to tame them if your just starting your world or you will be ABSOLUTELY DESTROYED.

The only reason I would bring these in underwater caves is because of the stun attack.

I wish you can mate it with a dimetrodon to make a Spino.

Hits as hard as a carno, but better stamina and can sprint on both land and water. Regen from fish helps with the slightly lower hp. The stun attack makes a mockery of megalodons and beaver raids.

It is most helpful in hunting in my experience. For the fact if you get it high in health, Melee attacks, and also Speed it is extremely helpful to hunt.

While the baryonix only eat fish when you ride on them and they are low force feed them fish and they gain more health then force feeding it normal meat hope this helps

Best caving dino due to the fact it can't get super mega ultra rabies. I just sit back and watch my bary wreck all those damn salamander things.

Wile I was trying to tame I forgot to put my sarco to stop and so I whistle it to passive and it died but I still got the Baryonxe and I did not need narcotics or anything

This creature can stun you in the water so if you find one in the wild avoid swimming because in can out swim you and stun you and keep attacking you until you die. It is also great for caving because it can fit to almost every cave if not all but it only eat fish meat so be aware for that.
