Feed them bio toxin to keep them asleep

If u have tranq darts and 150+hp u can tank its hits whilst firing constantly and whilst doing that have an icthyornis killing fish

I just witnessed this mf kill my sarco and pterodactyl

For god's sake don't ruin your bary's taming effectiveness with fish meat or prime fish meat, just make regular kibble. It's not that hard

I recomend this creature for caves and water caves the stun is op and its better if u get an imprinted one u can use this guys with a thyla and megatherium and lemme tell u will rule the caves

This guy's can stun u in water by their secendary attack and it is also very usefull for caves in short they are ( The fastest and flexible creature ever)

I always wanted this dino in real with me

Arge can pick up this I guess Dododex haven’t fixed that yet

Baryonyxes can stun you,stun means like your knocked out or your frozen its very weird but only in water

But a spinosaurus can not stun you

Baryonyx is related to the suchomimus

There's no suchomimus in Ark Survival Evolved

I used a trike to kill one ...... trikes have knockback and then it won’t kill you

I have a wild Barry that kills spinos very easily these are easy to get and awesome tames

How I tamed on mobile (emphasis on “I”)

- place 4 foundation, place a door, build 2 walls high on the foundation (should look like a topless box)

- hop on your argey

- pick up bary with argey

- put bary in box

- K.O. bary (either with tranq thingys or just club it, whatever works for you)

- realize you can only feed it fish

- hop on water mount and swim around hoping to find a whale dude to scrape prime fish off of

- can’t find one so go back to your base to check that bary is still K.O.Ed

- see that bary is still out cold and go fishing

- finally come back with your fishy meat and give it to bary

- watch it absolutely devour the fish in seconds cause it’s starving so it tames really frikn fast (unless they just normally do that lol)

- name your new baryonyx and have fun

Side notes:

I think bary’s are only carry-able in ark mobile

Be prepared (unless you wanna follow the instructions exactly lol)

They’re seem easy to find until you actually go looking for one. Bring high level Dinos for the onslaught of snakes who want tot make you their snacks, crocodiles, jumpy crocodiles, XXL crocodiles, frogs, phiomias, and Baryonyx. My max level peachy died while trying to get one. I was knocked by snakes and he killed them both. Then bugs came, then another snake. But the Barry is taking right now, so yey.

By the way, the pachy’s name was Ikeinus, first Vernox. I’m on a run where I name all the Dino’s something out of elden ring.

I was in ragnarok down near the canyon (I forget where specifically) and I hopped off my Griffin to get some silica pearls and I got 3 batches. Note: My movement speed isn’t much desirable and it was at the peak of nighttime and considering I’ve had this game for about 2 months I didn’t know these h*llspawns swim or were even a thing so as I’m swimming back up I hear what sound or at least what I thought sounds like a pirhana starts attacking me and there’s 2 of them and then everything goes black and so I’m like “Since when do pirhanas leave you dazed and it wears off so I thought I’m almost there then it happens again and again 24 seconds of dazing later “You were killed by a Baryonyx - Lvl 150” I play on PS4 btw and that’s max level for a Dino you know besides the rare exception for the Lvl 168 Tek Stego you see sometimes.

These guys are the best for killing alpha megalodons so tame one of these if you want to kill a alpha megalodon

If you want to tame a baryonyx trap it at night then go to sleep then knock it out and then when you start taming it it's taming bar will go up far.or you can get pachyrhinosaurus kibble and feed that to it.

Me and Greg my freind we lost both of our andrews from higher lvl bary while looking for maewing and we both died and I wonder why it ate both of us

when it eats fish everyone should notice that

Best way to tame them is place a bear trap (not large) then shoot Bary and make sure it goes in bear trap. Then give it raw fish. No narcotics needed.

One second I’m building my base. Next second I’m being attacked by one of them. They’re very not friendly

Easy but good tame all you have to do is tame a carbenemys up it’s health get a saddle for it ride it towards a bary and shoot that thing with a sling once he starts to run after 20 shots or so (varies on the level) run after it with a club and knock it out

Why does this eat me when it only eats fish? It’s not like animals will kill anything that they don’t eat unless they feel threatened, so it makes no sense.
