These guys are caving BEASTS, they will fit in most caves and wreck everything in their path, their health regens extremely fast when eating fish, and their damage and health are basically unmatched.

ONLY aggressive if you get in the water. No wait not “the”water, ITS water. The water belongs to the Barry and there is nothing you can do about it.

This guy is great for early-ish game. He doesnt take to much trancs and he's super strong. His torpidity is kiterally amazing and hes saved me countless times. Hes super fast and has good stamina and good against other water/swamp creatures. He can also stun enemies underwater

What can they do?In my opinion Barys are the best cave dino in the game and very easy to get early game all you need it tranqs and fish meat. You could definitely argue that direwolves are better because of there pack ability, but a bary can hit harder than a rex sometimes. 100% Recommend to go get yourself a bath as fast as you can. How to tame? The baryonx saddle is unlocked at level 49 which by doing note run’s, you can get there fast. They are relatively easy to knock out as well so really all you need is a crossbow and like 30 tranqs. I recommend using a trap on these guys.All you need for the trap is 4 fence foundations a bola or bear trap and four stone walls. Once you get this bary knocked down you want to make sure that you get plenty of fish meat (or prime fish meat for faster tame) because they are pescatarians so they will strictly only eat fish. After the game there saddle can be crafted in a smithy by using the following ingredients. 225 hide, 25 metal ingots and 350 fiber. And that’s my instructions on how to tame a baryonx, hope it helped!

With the ability to go an unlimited amount of time under water this mount is perfect for deep sea diving! 2-4 will make sure you kill anything. Be wary of squids, so long as you have 4 you can still stun him even when he grabs a bary with his tentacle.

Guys if you wanna kill these your gonna need about 5 dilos and just hit it once and your Barry is dead

Every time I try to find one of these guys to tame they always pick a fight with a Trike or Carno or a Spino and get killed. Now I’m off to tame another because my level 10 I spent OVERNIGHT IN A SWAMP to tame and was just beginning to level got killed by a pack of Mantas. RIP Onyx.. I’ll miss you.

Learned the hard way into fighting this underwater (R.I.P My sarco who saved me from the stun attack and died as a hero)

To kill just get its attention then run to a local stego or trike and then they kill it unless it moves them into water but easy

This has to be one of my 10 favorite dinos that I've used. It has decent damage and okay health, and its also super fast, and it's stamina is really not that bad, and it has that stun attack underwater. This makes it a versatile all-around mount capable of fighting off enemies or escaping them too.

These guys are best for running caves But not strong cave or skylord and there tanks and are strong

If you want to tame one of these at level 20-30s I recommend you to have an ichthyosaurus, crossbow, and minimal 6 tranqs and 1 arrow. They may be dangerous in water but that's if your tames are slow. My strategy is to lure them to land I usually shoot one of them mount my ichthy and lure it to a safe area where no Dinos are around. if you're searching on swamp areas don't worry predators like kapros and sarcos won't attack you while you're mounting your ichthy. After you knock it out feed it fish meat they do not want normal meat. You ran out of fish meats? Kill some megs with your ichthy megs are easy 50+ fish meat don't be intimidated by them they only attack land creatures same with most water/ semi aquatic creatures. Hope this helps you!

Taming these guys is worth it, because if you can get 2,breed them, get that 100% imprint, then take it out for a spin to get xp, then you can get a power house. This was the case for me, to this day she is my favorite mount, she can kill alpha rexs if done strategically,she can almost any thing in the ocean, and can plow through caves and she's only level 82. Definitely get one of these.

Best early to end game dinos in my opinion easy to tame make a trap if you don't have high HP and tranq it untill it falls down get fish meat and feed it to it taming it is not that hard use a few narcotics and some stacks of fish meat and it's yours best metal transport dino if you don't have a argy to fly over water the best for hunting meg's and alpha meg getting a load of pack of these bad boys is a stun spam team
