Baryonyxs are very good for exploring caves, I would suggest taming a fairly high leveled one and mainly leveling it's melee damage and health, maybe even breed + mutate it if you have alot of time!

By far best dino to tame for deep sea exploration and farming. He's incredibly fast on land, out running taptors, carnos, theriz, etc. His swim speed in water is just as good, with megalodons crumpling to his stun and bite. Great stamina and offense, and you can stay away from base for days with this helpful guy.

Very good amphibious mount and very fast on land. Funny borzoi face. If you see a majestic alligator horse, give it fresh fish and plenty of narco berries, and gather enough keratin for the saddle and voila! Enjoy bullying sarcos and piranhas with your 360° stun

I see your looking to tame a baryonyx here’s how!; 1 supplies, I recommend bringing 50 / 100 narcs depending on the level and what you are useing to tame it, as with any water carnivore, it eats fish, and kibble! So I recommend bringing eithor one of those, however if you feed it normal fish meat it’s the same as regular meat, and prime fish meat works as well as, eh you probably get the point, I recommend bringing a sickle with you for the knockout ill explain a lil bit later. Next on the shopping list is yours truly the forsaken net gun :0 anyway this will be used during the knockout! Pack at least three as baryonyx are very quick creatures! And finnaly to specify what type of mount you will need this is optional because you may be quicker and more maneuverable on foot, but as the baryonyx is too it will be 50/50 you manage to catch up with it! 2 Finding one is pretty simple, they spawn on every map that I know of, and they commonly spawn in swamps, or river canals that have fish spawn points! 3 Knockout, with a net gun this is very simple, when you think the area you are in isn’t safe, if your fast, or you have a good sturdy mount you can shoot from then your best bet is to have it aggro on you and let it chase you to a safer area once ur is a safer taming area, whip out ur net gun and slap it with a net to let it know you mean business next shoot it in the head with a tranq dart, this should be enough to knock out a decent lvled Gary really quick make sure you bring more just in case tho, once it’s out, take your sickle and find some salmon, dispatch them and harvest them using the sickle, this is the best bet on getting prime fish without going to a leedsycths. Kibble works great too! :D congratulations you have tamed a dinosaur with an over extended mouth! But for what reason? Here’s some great thing about the baryonyx!; Very agile, and versatile mounts, this Dino is great for covering a long distance very quickly, very great tame for low levels and moderate level players! Great cave mounts as they can jump! They can also swim quite well, when in the water they have a special attack that stuns anything within the splash range it makes, of course this only works when swimming! They also have a very effective way of healing! They can eithor go to the water and consume fish to heal, or you can manually do it to heal very quickly by consuming live fish! A well rounded out versatile tame, other than the fact it only eats exclusively fish meat or it will starve to death, as fish meat is relatively common, it’s a pretty easy task! Happy taming! These things are incredibly good at climbing steep surfaces, they are able to easily walk up and down almost 90° angle slopes like it’s nothing, even scorpions got nothing on these, they are also remarkably fast, being able to outrun stuff like raptors and terror birds, on top of that they can jump much further than most creatures and have very decent health and damage and can heal up almost instantly by killing a few fish, and to make it even better, they aren’t even that hard to tame, the only real downside to them is they only come in very dull colours (they can apparently spawn in red but this is extremely rare and I’ve never seen it happen before) which can make them a bit boring to look at, however this also helps with sneak attacks on other tribes as it makes them very hard to spot, so overall really worth taming if you love to explore a lot and they can also be quite useful in caves

They do a lot of damage but only eat fish "that's a bad thing"

Pick the Bary up with an argy and place it in a 2x2 stone cage(not wood!). The wall lvls only have to be one high and it won’t be able to escape, then tranq it till it’s knocked out then boom u have urself a baryonyx

It’s basically a raptor on land and a little slower than a sarco in water... they are also very strong and powerful!

It’s just perfect, because except for the snow cave, and maybe some of the underwater caves(which i recommend you use a basilo for which is an easy tame with this puppy) you can do every single cave with a high level Baryonyx.

Most people use this as a fighting tame, but if you needed one it’s also a good tame for transporting items if you lv up weight, since it can go on water too so you don’t have to slow down on rivers and it can jump too

These are by far the best cave creatures on mobile.

Be VERY careful with these things. They're difficult to kill at low player levels, and your best bet is to bola it and book it in the other direction. Unless you've got an ascendant bow and some high ground, you're screwed. And NEVER go into the water with those things nearby; their tail spin stuns you if the Baryonyx is in the water.

I always trap these under my wyverns and then tranq them so I don't have to build traps.

Guys this thing is great for land and water cause it is pretty fast on land and it has a stun attack that can only be used in the water. This thing can stun ALPHA megalodons bruh. All around great mount to have. Also it can jump to which is rare for most creatures.

probably best dino fo caves (most) he also has decent dmg and hp but special ability is just insane when you are underwater you can stun everything around you (doesnt work for fishes) but for example sarco the ability last for i think 10 or so sec and they are very easy to tame (sorry for my bad english and i missclicked my last tip)

I tamed this guy and he was level 160 so I was like now i can gather biotoxins then it went in the water and started fighting a jellyfish then about 6-8 of them started attacking me and I got dismounted he was getting killed so I ran to my rex and came back with it the rex killed everyone and my baryoynx was safe but with only 200 hp

Moral: never fight jellyfish with baryoynx

If your exploring the central cave and get low hp from all the insects and titanoboas and megalosauruses, you can go to the pond near the artifact and kill a whole swarm of piranhas to regain hp.
