I saw a level 90 on the other side of a river in the easy area and I wanted to tame it. I was low level, but I had tamed a parasaur that is now level 100. The para had about 1000 hp and when I went to tame the baryonyx, I just let it hit my para. For being level 90 I didn't do that much damage and I got it into fleeing. Unfortunately, while I was chasing it, a spino had spawned in front of me so I had to stop chasing it.

Their mutations are prob one of the best, I had one named Grass and she could take on an Alpha Rex in the water Solo.

One day I was in the swamp killing Titanoboas with my Baryonyx but then a Kaprosuchus jumped me and killed me! I quickly got on my PT when I got to base and also took my Sarco. We rushed over swamp to see my Bary running from 3 Kapros!!! I forgot I put him on passive so I quickly whistled aggressive! He killed them all but my Sarco whent crazy as well! I had to make a quick decision to save the Sarco or Bary! I whent for my Sarco and saved it but lost the Baryonyx in the swamp. I got back to base sad because I was super happy when I first tamed him :( But still to this day I never got the message of his death so maybe he is still out there fighting! Baryonyx fight for your life and come back home!!!

When I was a noobie in Ark I saw this guy. Like the therizinosaur incident with me thinking this guy is passive I walked up to him while he was busy dealing three raptors. He slew the raptors easily then he drew his attention to me. I was like “Hello there” and he was like “Omae wa, mou shindeiru.” He stunned and easily killed me. Lesson learned. Don’t ever, ever go near creatures dealing with other hostiles. You might save your character by doing this.

Story of pain: My brother and I were going to go into the caves of the ark bcs we were preparing to fight the broodmother. We went out to find a high level baryonyx, we found the central swamp too risky as it’s close to the redwoods which is plentiful in alpha carnos and rexes ready to screw us over, so we went to the far eastern swamp, which I mind you is ACROSS THE MAP FROM OUR BASE as our base is at that waterfall by red obelisk. We flew with our argies across the entire map, encountering very fun things such as a high level rhynio, landing right next to a Rex after running out of stamina, and more fun things. Once we got there, we searched for a while and found a 145 bary, near perfect. After I lured it out of the swamp, I knocked it out and tamed it, that’s it, right? Well this was before cryopods were added back in ascended and ofc argies couldn’t pick up barys, I swam around the entire map with it. Nearly an hour of torment. Worth it though.

Under the waves: chapter 4

Pearl was pulled to the back of the largest raft, and they hooked the net onto it before they started heading for land. She could hear the humans yelling and cheering at their success in capturing her. Smug little things. Eventually they calmed down, then, as they were headed to a shore, she saw something pass the raft underwater. She peered at it, trying to get a better look, but it had disappeared again. Before pearl knew it, it was getting dark. The humans seem to be afraid of the dark, so they park the rafts at a nearby island, eventually, with nothing else to do, pearl fell asleep.

“Psst!” Pearl jumped awake, startled. She looked around, but she didn’t see anyone. Was she hallucinating? At least the humans were still asleep. “Hey!” The voice whispered again. More agitated than anything, pearl submerged again, trying to fall back asleep. Then a sharp nip on her fin. Pearl whirled around, baring her teeth. And, staring right at her, was another plesiosaur.

Chapter 37: The Golden Egg

“Hyahh!”

Clunk! Clunk! Clunk!

Bobby let out a battle cry as he smashed his pickaxe into the glittering rock. He and Simon were currently toiling out near some strange cave, smashing away at rocks that were filled with pockets of raw metal. They thought it would be useful for future projects for the Book Club.

“Whew, that was some nice work,” Simon noted, wiping sweat from his brow. A comically large backpack slung over his shoulders. Pieces of raw metal poked out from the top. Bobby took the last few remaining pieces of metal and stuffed them into Simon’s backpack.

“Okay, I think that’s plenty. Now let’s head home. It’s already night, we don’t want to run into any more of those orange eyed things,” Bobby said.

“I couldn’t agree with you more,” Simon replied. He tugged on the straps of his backpack and began to walk off back to camp. As Bobby followed though, he turned around for a quick moment, staring at the small, looming crack in the hill that led to the cavern. Bobby could feel dizzy and hot just staring at the opening.

“Who would want to go in there?” Bobby thought, shaking his head in disapproval. He followed Simon back to camp.

Somewhere in the darkness, along the riverbed, something golden glitters.

So when Bobby and Simon were heading back to camp, the two immediately noticed it laying in the sand. A small egg made of pure gold. The two gasped in awe, and Bobby leaned forward to pick it up.

“Nghhhh!” Bobby groaned. The egg seemed to be too heavy, “It’s so heavy!”

Simon patted Bobby on the shoulder, before picking it up with his index finger and thumb. He pocketed it, and gave Bobby a wink and a grin.

“Don’t worry ‘bout it. I can always take care of anything too heavy, you know that,” Simon reminded him. Bobby stared at the golden egg with delight, licking his lips furiously.

“Man, you think we can eat it? I bet it’d taste SO delicious!” Bobby groveled.

“Are you crazy?” Simon sneered, “We shall not! Do you, by chance, know the tale of the Golden Egg?”

“Uh. No. Why, is it important? Does this thing exist IN REAL LIFE?!” Bobby shouted with unwavering anticipation.

“No, it doesn’t. But basically, a farmer discovered his chicken could lay golden eggs. But he grew impatient with how slow it was at laying eggs, so he killed it, but discovered there was nothing inside. Now he had no more golden eggs to make,” Simon explained thoroughly, “We can’t just eat it now. It may serve some use later down the line.”

“Okay, OKAY, I get it,” Bobby replied with a sigh, “Let’s go home then. I bet Skyler and her team will be back by now.”

“Yeah, I bet. I wonder how it went, they probably found what they were looking for, AND their five heroes!” Simon said ecstatically, walking down the sands, “I can’t wait for what happens next!"

Chapter:1

Once there was a baryonyx that lived in a river with his mom and dad. He was a newborn baryonyx. He had a normal life (kill,eat,sleep). But that all changed one day. An Oviraptor kidnapped him and took him to a small cave. The oviraptor was about to eat him when a roar-like sound came from somewhere near. The oviraptor dropped the baby baryonyx and ran. Then the baryonyx got picked up by... his older sister who is bigger than a oviraptor but smaller than a tricer. The sister put him back at the nest with his twins. ( I will give you names now: the baby baryonyx name is Barry, the sisters name is Emily, and the twins names are Tommy and William)
