The AstroDelphis has a star fighter mode on the saddle which you toggle by clicking ctrl and two jets emerge drastically boosting your speed press left click to fire lasers and hold it to fire a homing shot if grenades are I. Your inventory right click to shoot one if you hold shift you can do a boost press c to do a barrel roll and press x to turn around if underwater press space to use echolocation and it’s all powered by element I hope this helps

Was using for getting meat and killing alphas but since the damage nerf today they do roughly a quarter of previous damage. Sad times.

Tamed a lvl 15, full trough when i logged off, 6 hrs later Empty trough and it had starved to death. Not sure if that food consumption is intended or just bugged... Cryo it, trust me

Note about stats! When these have a saddle and element, their stamina and melee stat are completely irrelevant as they do not use stamina when in jet mode, and melee does not increase laser damage

This creature have a great tek saddle and a powerfull laser guns like a big spaceship in the space

These things are literal all terrain spaceships

This creatures level doesn’t matter a lot in pve or single player since all of its utility comes from a tek saddle that can be used with element and grenades. In pvp you will want a high level and I have found a lot of these saddles in white drops. You also can no longer use it without the blueprint learnt at level 120 for the player. For those on console (don't know if it works on PC) if you are having trouble with the cross-hairs tilting to the middle right in the starfighter mode and is doing the same on GEN2 Mission StarDolfin here is how to fix it, jump in the space dolfin and go into settings, then click on HIGH DETAIL (should fix it) while in the starfighter mode or play with the UI Scale settings.

If you find the Starwing saddle DO NOT EQUIP IT if you don't have the engram learned. This causes the food to bug and your tame will die of starvation. If you remove it, you can force feed it meat to fill the hunger meter and you should be fine.

Never bite with this creature as it will drain its stamina FAST
