I’d recommend a mek with the M.S.C.M, get close to its face, shoot its face and when it runs, cryopod and go follow it and repeqt

Got all these comments but not one says to use cannon stryder with two behemoth gates place one down prior of whale going into it then place one after whale is stuck.

I recommend not using a tek suit and rocket launcher because he moves so fast and when you nearly knock him out he warps

Hover Skiff makes this easier but isn’t necessary! They aggro very easily to player structures, I got my first one mad at a stone dino gate on the ground. Once it’s stuck to the gate, put a couple cannons down (this is important- they’ll run away faster than 1 cannon in most cases) and put em to sleep. 2-3 cannons and 3-4 cannonballs.

If you use RPGs make sure you have more of them they will break possibly also be quick to use a mek siege cannon that's effective this guy will teleport away if you dont knock him out quick. also if you use a cannon on a hover skiff make sure your not flung off by this guy. Your welcome.

Use a cannon to knock it out with a rocket launcher it’s one hit from teleporting or before it dies

it is 2 cannon balls on a 130, not 4 i had a ruined tame because of this

Used a cannon mounted on a pillar and ceiling on official, shot in the head and knocked out after agro-ing with a bloodstalker to the cannon

Great for bombing a base or mass transport. In to servers this is your b-52 flying fortress

These things can swim! Otherwise they would have an oxygen stat, right? Can someone test this in the ocean biome, and take the whale to it's home on earth?

So, after doing a whole bunch of testing. an easy way to tame a level 250 at most so far is four cannons on the ground 2 middle aimed up 2 and the side one aimed slightly in and up, find your target, gain aggro run and shoot rockets at it while luring towards cannons at the cannons wait till its almost too close for comfort and tun past your cannons firing all at once (less cannons and rockets during kiting for lower levels duh).

I tame this one always if i am in genis 1/2

How i do it:

1. Build a hover skift

2. Build one front canon and 2 back canons

3. Shoot the whale it follows you so you turn your back to him and fly a little bit away and aim with the Canons on its head and shoot

You can use a rocket launcher to knock it out

It can swim, it's just unfathomably slow. Flight is also slow but builds up speed to a point comparable to a quetz or Argy. Aside from that, either I'm using hyperspace wrong, or it only teleports you maybe 100' ahead or so.

Does anybody know how to tame it with full effectiveness?... Or with atleadt with more than 80%

It's easier with with the back-cannon of the mek... Let it fly towards you and then shoot on his head, doesn't matter how the lvl is, it's always a an one-shot

These guys are super show but I think Wild card did that on purpose so you would have to use the teleportation move. They aren't made for combat but they have a bite and tail swipe attack, both do little damage. These whales also move faster after a teleportation is done. Hope this helps!

Rockets work just as well as cannon balls. I recommend using a mech tho with the rocket attachment. It's an instant knock-out.
