You can use an argentavis to tame anything that it can carry. Just let your tribemate ride an argy and carry for you what you want to tame (Raptor, Gallimaimus, etc), then you shoot it with your KO weapon. This will prevent the creature from attacking you or escaping.

They are good flyers and they have a good weight state

Not bad if u r going for an upgrade from pt as is well worth it and do take a hight level mostly above 50 if u low level your self

I feel like you should have the option to dive with flyers, which didn’t use stam and was more r less the same speed of gravity, without the dying part.

Considering its weight reductions, great resource transport with the perk of flying.

If you go mining in a volcano for obsidian crystal or metal you can put the resources in your argie it will lower the weight of the resources than when they were in your inventory

This big chicken is, besides being KFC’s dream, by far the #1 tame for many maps. You just can’t do without. They have a 50% weight reduction on stone, metal, obsidian, black pearls, polymer and cristal and can carry most gathering dinos like doedicurus and anky.

Not just that, but they have a fairly decent melee damage and good health, so you are way safer on those than on a ptera or tapejara.

The only downside is that they are slower, but when you get used to it it’s not that big of a deal.

You don’t want argy, you NEED argy.

Flying messes with Alpha creatures pathfinding and they loose interest as soon as your off the ground, so I used to farm alphas with a mid level argy and got a lot of good loot.

Argis when saddled are mobile smithys

Devs should add the ability to carry wild creatures (You can in ARK Mobile).

Can carry: Gorilla Monkey Tiger Wolf Bear Horse Anything Small. Pachy pachyrino anklo Dilophosaurs. And animals samiliar to those sizes.

After reading some of these comments, I was really excited to finally ride an argy. Once I was able to craft the saddle, I put it on my argy. I started to flying around and as some comments stated that they’re slow, they were right, slow flyers and when argy are carrying creature they tend to be on top of the argy allowing the creature to attack if it’s wild. I do not know if that’s only me but if it’s just like that they should probably fix it. Those two are the only down side of an argy besides that everything is great, really good stamina great for carrying/transporting resources and animal as long as you’re careful.

I just bred mine and the egg is always too hot, any suggestions? I don't own an air conditioner.

Argents have always been beasts. It's actually better to have than Quetzals since Quetz have gotten way less useful throughout the years. These guys are beasts in metal farming with an Anky, especially on mobile.
