When equipped with a saddle it's inventory becomes like a smilly. Can craft the same things in the argy that you can in a smithy. Great for on the go. Cannot repair items tho.

Plus all the pretty and good stuff that creature is capable of, it also has healing from eating corpses, and if you want a flying mount to travel with get the Arge, put some movement speed point in it like 200% and 500% attack, and as you can on health, if you want it for weight reduction, put some points in weight and movement speed and here you go you have two types of Arge, the traveling mount and the runs mount

Baby argys can fly! Just bring them to water but they’re quite slow and btw u can’t put a saddle when they’re flying

Probably one of the most important flying mounts for late game. A lot of recipes with the fabricator need very high tier resources. A huge source is the volcano(crystals, obsidian, metal), and an argy has reduced weight, resulting in carrying a lot of materials than a mount that carry’s similar weights.

Increase HP and Melee is actually a good idea for dino hunting role. You can fly around, killing low level dinos so new dinos can be spawned. Repeat till you get the high level dino you want.

Small dinos can be picked off and drop into taming cage.

Big angry dino can be slowly tranq by just land-shot-takeoff

Since it is slow DO NOT use in wyvern trench unless on scorched earth.

Use a taming pen with an Arge and you can get a lot of good resource farming dinos (beavers ankylosaurus etc.)

You can use its inventory as a smithy

I have a lvl 40 Argy named Falcone. I was hoping to breed a very beautiful male with her, but he mate was stuck in redwoods and got killed. I got a apprentice argy saddle blueprint, which took me hours to make. But in the end, it was worth it. Argys are pretty helpful, but can be annoying at times. They help you pick things up, and a decent lvl can have good weight. If you pick a wild raptor up with an Argy, it can't pounce on you. Also, their stam is the decent too. Good for travelling long distances, whether flying full speed or regular flying.

But heres a consequence... They are slow, so slow that a pteranodon can beat them in a race. They spawn in the Artic, or the place near the artic. The saddle is unlocked at lvl 62 and can be crafted in the smithy. One more thing about Argies are that they are easy to fight in the wild.

Once tamed you have a weight reduction for certain things like metal and they can withstand the cold so if you are grinding metal use this to your advantage and go up to the snowy mountains

argys are good tamming tame just pair it up with a trap for small creatures and boom

Like if you agree Ark's next update should make manually feeding like the crafting section to where you can hold feed to feed a dino multiple pieces of food. Like hold and drag the bar to say 50 narcotics so we dont have to spam the feed button anymore.

There is a setting that allows you to upgrade movement speed

Might be a bit hard to tame one if you're low level like me, but like all the other comments said, It's absolutely worth it. I had a bit of luck and ran into a level 35 argy, after being chased for a bit and then chasing it a bit I tamed it with raw prime meat and got it to level 40+. Equipped even with a primitive saddle, this bird can tear through anything that's level 30 or below. Terror birds? Sabertooth? Lift up and kill. Need prime meat? Slaughter some paracertheriums or diplodocus. Want a Rex bone helmet? Fly straight into its back and start clawing! So far the only things I have encountered with argy and haven't managed to kill are Titanosaurs(for obvious reasons) and Allosaur packs (I am positive that the argy can handle them with a few easy prey nearby, but I wouldn't take that chance.). No Rex or Spino or Bronto can stand up to it as long as there are other prey nearby for it to regenerate its health. So go ahead and tame one as soon as u can!

Just got my first argy. All I can say is it is AMAZING because of its weight reduction on metal, obsidian, etc. Definitely a must-have for any player. If you like to go BIG on projects or just want loads of extra items, definetly get some extra argys.

Its ability to pick up small to medium sized creatures makes it easier to tame said creatures. You simply build a taming-pen (I use pillars), pick up the creature and drop into pen. Leave gaps between to shoot through. Thanks if you found this useful.
