If you want to carry a human carried creature with an Argy, simply pick up your beetle/dodo/small handheld tame and then mount your Argy while carrying the creature in your hands. This works. It’s how I got my dung beetles home before cryopods existed.

These things are one of the, if not the most, necessary mounts in the game. A high level argy with high weight can get carry just about 2000 raw metal, and can fly all the way back to your base without any breaks as it has high stamina. My lvl 293 has taken down 2 alpha rexes, 5 rexes, 1 alpha raptor, 6 spinos... the list is long. 7000 health 3000 stam 2700 weight and 800 melee. BEASTS

I think the game maker should have the argentavis be a true flying mount

If only they weren't so slow I would honestly pick them over any other flyer

If you have a friend you can get one with high weight and carry someone and use a mining drill it's op

If u level up speed and damage, it will destroy anything. Mine is only a level 60 and it can kill anything I want to.

Argies can carry baby dinos! This works with baby spinos and allos, probably rexes and other big guys too. Only up to certain maturation though. Applies to PC and Mobile at least.

It is basically a moving smithy

Just I thing I found, on console, press your right stick down to pickup any very small creature like a dodo and put it in your mouth. You become unable to attack but I just learned this. Very funny.

With the sattle its a free workbench and u can just Move short dinos easily

These things are overrated! If you level them up the right way, they can kill even a Spino! (If you're riding them of course) Up if this helps

When equipped with a saddle it's inventory becomes like a smilly. Can craft the same things in the argy that you can in a smithy. Great for on the go. Cannot repair items tho.

Plus all the pretty and good stuff that creature is capable of, it also has healing from eating corpses, and if you want a flying mount to travel with get the Arge, put some movement speed point in it like 200% and 500% attack, and as you can on health, if you want it for weight reduction, put some points in weight and movement speed and here you go you have two types of Arge, the traveling mount and the runs mount

Baby argys can fly! Just bring them to water but they’re quite slow and btw u can’t put a saddle when they’re flying

tank the points into speed and stamina. that makes them the ultimate flying tame, at least on Ark Mobile

Probably one of the most important flying mounts for late game. A lot of recipes with the fabricator need very high tier resources. A huge source is the volcano(crystals, obsidian, metal), and an argy has reduced weight, resulting in carrying a lot of materials than a mount that carry’s similar weights.

Increase HP and Melee is actually a good idea for dino hunting role. You can fly around, killing low level dinos so new dinos can be spawned. Repeat till you get the high level dino you want.

Small dinos can be picked off and drop into taming cage.

Big angry dino can be slowly tranq by just land-shot-takeoff

Since it is slow DO NOT use in wyvern trench unless on scorched earth.
