I say Argi trap and me personally I like tranq Arowws cause there kinda like tranq darts and there cheaper

I found a level 300 in dead island so of course I got traps and knocked it out but there’s just so many creatures that a rex spawned right on the same mini island. Dead island sucks

There’s raptors,Carnos,sabres,other Argys,rexs and alphas.

I tamed it with a 10x soothing balm and prime meat. My Pt is really good for stuff but I need a utility mount for gathering metal and other rare materials.

if u find one but in a dangerous place Use a pteranadon shoot one arrow and let it chase u to a safe place where there is no dangerous creatures u don't need to kill any carnivore

BEST TRAP!!!!!!

1. Build 4-5 dinosaur gateways and 2 doors

2. Go to Argy spawn and find a flat area (snow, mountains)

3. Get narc arrows or tranq darts

4.find and shoot argy with low power weapon (not in the head)

5. Place walls so you can run through but not too wide then place one door on one end

6. After shooting run into trap, after argy in the trap have tribe mate or you place a door on other end then run through crack in between gateways

7. Tranq, tame and enjoy your new argy by killing everything on the mountain

I can't use traps. Most of the map is full of pillars. [][][][] mainly those...

So to tame the argy,

i use a good tham that can take many hits and not die. Shoot the argy with tranqs and it will fly to you do run under or behind you tame and let the argy hit the tame and shoot the argy with tranqs. It works really well.

Sometimes the argy will fly to attack you. Just run back to the tame and the argy will attack your tame again.

The argy will fly away when its close to being knocked out. Quickly shoot it with tranqs or you might need to follow it and shoot. Then just feed it the food of choice

Big struggle guys I had to go to the redwood lead him reversing with my tapejara and got off in a safe but it was to dark so I HAD TO RUN IN CIRCLES TILL MORNING and went to my base and this big eagle picked my doedicurus who had the highest health to attack so I made a few tranq arrows and I shot him he ran away but I chased him and he just landed and one headshot and he is 😴 very good tame srsly

To tame:

Crossbow

50 narcotics

20 narcotic arrows

6 prime meats or 25 meat

Sword or other deadly weapon

Go to North/Arctic region. Find the bird you want, kill all predators around it. Then load your crossbow, aim, and fire. It should take around 2-6 hits on mobile to “down” it. For an arch with 300ish health around 3 hits should do. Feed it the meat, and you have a best friend for life, until it dies or you kill it…..

To wait till it's healing and knock it out so that

U can tame it faster

How to tame i high level argy

Step 1 find a argy

Step 2 make sure it is just one not in a pack

Step 3 tranq it out with a crossbow ar longneck if ur trying to tame i high lvl then use a ascend or journeyman

Step 4 feed it prime or regular meat if u don’t have prime

Step 5 give it a few naracotics

Step 6 name it and if this does not work sorry keep trying

If u wana tame one attack it then keep spinning around and using the darts or arrow this way u wont get damaged

Good tip have a bola on the Argentavis because when the bola on they can't move for 30seconds

Make sure and jump off in mid air

Have someone fly you on back of quetzal platform and have it agroed while you knock it out and put spikes around where it drops

Have a friend lure an argument over with their argy. Shoot it with tranq arrows till it is unconscious. Starve tame it. Doing this will allow you to tame in a safe area away from predators.

They have a bad turning circle as wild and this can be used to your advantage, go for a dry run and run around a wild one to find this turning circle they have then once you are comfortable gear up with crossbow and tranqs and good luck. Can be a long tame if you're not using kibble!

Sooo.... I really need an argy to progress on my pve world and have got all the equipment to tame them except..... my pteranodon has rubbish Stam and I spawned, and currently live, in the south but I don’t no were to find them. All I know is mountains are a good place but my pteranodon can’t get over there so we’re should I go to get one that is as close to south as possible. Thx to anyone that replys!

Ever since they nerfed the flyers you can't upgrade movement speed which really sucks. Preferably, I use a pelagornis. He has around 1,200 weight 319 movement speed and 10,000 melee damage
