They have a bad turning circle as wild and this can be used to your advantage, go for a dry run and run around a wild one to find this turning circle they have then once you are comfortable gear up with crossbow and tranqs and good luck. Can be a long tame if you're not using kibble!

Sooo.... I really need an argy to progress on my pve world and have got all the equipment to tame them except..... my pteranodon has rubbish Stam and I spawned, and currently live, in the south but I don’t no were to find them. All I know is mountains are a good place but my pteranodon can’t get over there so we’re should I go to get one that is as close to south as possible. Thx to anyone that replys!

Ever since they nerfed the flyers you can't upgrade movement speed which really sucks. Preferably, I use a pelagornis. He has around 1,200 weight 319 movement speed and 10,000 melee damage

This is my favorite flyer in the game. Amazing weight stats, regen faster after eating bodies, saddle works as a smithy, good health, really good stamina. If you need to trap it, make 8 double doorways, 1 foundation and 1 ceiling (you can use wood or stone it doesnt matter) and stack the doorways on top of each other 2 walls high and leave 1 side open to get it trapped, close the trap so it doesn't escape obviously

This is just easy to tame two digits of this just go to the volcano with your pte and just shoot it with tranq arrows one by one and just feed it with raw prime meat or raw meat 😄😄 hope it helps

Make a trap and lead it in then close the trap so it can’t escape then tranq it out and have fun

Look up griffin trap on YouTube they will say 8 foundations will work but 6 will work just fine. It says it works on griffins but any small to medium flying creatures that can be lured by you will and can be trapped in the griffin trap. You'll need to close the door in time to trap the argi but if your slow you need to sacrifice yourself and your ride. I recommend pterodactyls or pelagornis because tapejaras, griffins, and quetzals, are to valuable to sac off and quetzals are too big anyways. Then respawn, get your loot, and knock out the argi. (Note pelagornis can fit through the gaps or the door frame walls of the trap) (Note 2 don't use pipes or pillars for the traps walls, use wood or stone door frames)

lure a argy out of the redwoods to either zone 1,2 or 3 they’re safe zones then knock it out by any means and boom you have yourself an argy

Tame it near the snow area and u will have prime meat for days because of the penguins!😁😁😁

Build a taming pen use the Argentavis to pick up the smaller dinosaurs drop them in the pen and and tame them in the safety of your base

It always helps to have a friend tank the hits so that you can just worry about popping heads

Please don't listen to the advise given to not bother about traps! This is very foolish as it there are many many variables to take into consideration. Are you using a crossbow? A rifle? If Ur using a rifle is it primitive? Ascended? You can't walk up to a 150 Arg with a primitive crossbow and think nothing will go wrong. I do not use traps, why? Well I have a 700dmg ascended longkneck that's why. Being able to use a trap is simple, effective and controlled.

You know where the argent will be and having the ability to pick traps up afterwards...there's really no reason not use them. If you don't have a decent longkneck and fancy going around the island on the back of something in first person looking at the sky while you walse into an alpha go for it.
