Keep circling the feet and it won't be able to hit you and you can get clear headshots on it

Go near an Argentavis, Pull out a crossbow, (with tranq) and shoot it in the head, run away, shoot, run, shoot, and so on. When it runs away, chase and shoot. Basically. Bolas don't affect Argens.

build a box quetz with dino gates and doors then als you have to do then is land on top of the bird and get off quetz and its then trapped

Make a taming hut/base with dino gate and stone door frames need STONE or it will destroy wood or thatch

This bird is very easy to tame as birds take 6x damage just hit it with one trank and lead it to your Base and u shouldnt need more then 8 to 10 more to the head

Argents have the best carry weight increases in scorched earth making it the best pack mule over wyvern also being carried in its claws and using a whip for dragon eggs is very useful

I am giving a little tip that is you should always trap them , should tranq them with tranq darts , should give them kibble , should stay there , should wait and then boom 💥💥💥

this is an awsome mount for all purposes i am taming a lvl 230 and max lvl is 300 and it has amazing stats tame this as early as possible i didnt tame it with a trap but i recomend to do it you lure it in and close the dino gates then tranq it out it eats stego kibble or supirior kibble take some bio toxin in case and wait for it to tame you can also use prime or normal meat i would choose kibble or prime

So lead tgis into a trap with dino gets and... ha just wasted ur time everyone knows this

Tip:

•Get about 20 tranq Arrows and a cross bow

•shoot until flys away then one more arrow should knock it down

•put meat in the inventory

You can find these guys in the north west snow area, just pump a few level into health and get a few bolas to deal with raptors, Sabretooth’s and what ever that scorpion thing is.

One of the easiest tames, have 15-20 tranq arrows shoot once, then run shoot it again repeat. Protect it and put meat into it along with around 30 narcotics. 👍Vot3 so people know it is not that hard!!

Do not shoot in the head or the Arg will have a higher chance of dying even if it’s Tranq arrows

If u have a friend in ark they can carry u on a pteranodon and u shoot with your tranqs that is how I tamed my lvl 203 wild argy.

Craft a meat suit run and run around the Mountains.

I tamed the Argy and it took really long. Make sure to bring lots of narcitics or biotoxin. I called my Argy Cancer becuase of its movement speed after the update.

All these people talking about cages and stuff.. look, if you are taming only one or two, just go to Far's peak and lure a bird to the top with a ptera. Then just run around firing tranqs into it, hopping on the ptera to kite it. Works mainly on low levels. Havent tried it on other mountains

The timers on different types of food is slightly off. Remember to always use cooked fish meat when taming an argentavis as it is their favourite food! It will take around 15 minutes to fully tame a 150 :D

Ok I have the most useful tip ever. All the time I die and lose my pets. I never know if they live or die when I don’t get the notification. So I learned to keep track of how many pets I have so I count them. Let’s say I have 38 ok? I go on mission and die with my pet. I go back and cant find my pet but did not get the notification. Look at how many pets you have when in inventory when you put on clothes. In the corner It will say how many pets you have. If your down one then I died if not look because it is alive somewhere. Tell people so they know this useful tip. Hope this was very helpful!
