To tame just use a crossbow and keep shooting while having a friend agro it to you while shooting feed it raw meat and. Done

I tamed my first 160lvl argy inside a spike wall hedge. Then quickly ogled it up to lvl206 by “finding” knowledge notes while Mounted

Xbows don't seem to get headshot damage, but I knocked one out using a regular bow and was getting headshot damage everywhere but the head. Knocked out a 135 with 15 arrows, where a 130 took 40 with an xbow. Both were 100% damage.

You don’t really need any narcotics.I tamed a 150 with prime using no narcotics on solo.

Narc it up to 75% Torpor and check with the magnifying glass to be sure. Feed it a corpse(fish or dodo or smth), and as soon as it eats the corpse, narc it out! It will heal up and when its narced its food will drop 2000-4000(depends on how fast you narc it out). TADAA...instatame ;)

If you’re on PC then turn up taming stuff and put up hunger then just put a few pieces of raw meat in its inventory after you tranq it from the ground a couple times.

I used a tranquilizer bow and my partner use long neck we took turns shooting as it was hingry for me. Once it was KO we supplied it with raw meat and no berries or juice made a saddle right away and in my opinion best flyer so far

1x1 trap: Build one wood foundation, add two high doorframes on one side with ceiling on top, and finally one doorframe on each side. Lure argy in and place a final doorframe behind.

Build a Dino pen with 3 Dino gateways and gates, then make stone doorways, then make a roof and then tranq

Lure to taming box and tranq til flyes other direction then drop dead fish body and wait til health ring appears then knock it while health ring is over head, hunger goes all way down and makes it a 30 second tame.

Do not try to bola it is a bad idea I mean a very bad idea

Watch out when taming argies because they prevelently fly over shark-infested waters, just to get away. And you don't want your level 130 argy getting knocked out in the middle of the ocean

You dont need a trap to Tame It. I tamed It on mobile with muy tapejara.

Tbh, i tamed 12 argy by using at least 20 tranq arrows and a crossbow, a flyer, put it on passive, and let em attack the flyer. I reccomend using around 50 tranqs [if on 150, the medium hardcore] or 25 [For 30, the easier hardcore] I also reccomend using cooked meat like raw prime or cooked prime b/c it works better than normal raw meats

3x Stone Dinosaur Gateways

2x Reinforced Dinosaur Gateway Doors

6x Ceiling

(ALWAYS BRING SPARE)

Unconscious Process:

2x Crossbow

50x Mininum Tranq Arrow but ideally 100+

Time:

Mininum Level 50 - 19 minutes 12 seconds

Maximum Level 200 - 53 minutes 43 seconds

Build a trap near them and lure them into it, then tranquilice them and tame with meat/prime

Pretty easy tame you need:

Pteradon

4 wooden dino walls

2 wooden dino gates

Kibble or prime meat (if not them meat)

Tranq arrows or darts

Narcotics

Method:

Go to fars peak

Make a trap at the beach below the mountain

Trap should be 4 dino walls line dis | | | |

And the 2 gates should be at either end.

Open one end and make sure your pteranodon can find through the sides but an argy cant

Find an argy and lead it into the trap (don’t worry, argys r slow)

When it’s in, close both gates.

Land ur pteranodon outside the trap and shoot it with tranq arrows.

When it’s knocked out fed it (for a level 2 prime meat does 30%)

Take ur pteradon to pick up any dilos or kill any threats

The torpor is pretty low so check up every now and then to check

After around 5-10 minutes

You have tamed an Argy!
