I usually just ride my Pteranodon and fly past the Argentavis’s face, make it aggro on me and then lure it to the volcano’s top ( I tamed it at the volcano place) and wait for it to land, then shoot it with tranq arrows, then feed it meat ( Any meat). On the volcano there will be no animals so prepare meat or else you’ll have to go down the volcano. I play on mobile but I think on PC of something else is different.

骑翼龙把鹰引到安全的平原，穿上甲壳或者铁甲就可以放开的射晕它了（用翼龙抗也行），用弩箭挺好晕的。
