What are tips for argentavis? Tips and strategies for argentavis in ARK: Survival Ascended & Evolved.
They are built to be workhorse and mules don’t be afraid to use them for it, the super fast healing and 50% weight deduction on metal obsidian and crystals aren’t there for fun it’s very competent in combat and can be used to lob tones of resources from point a to point b essential for all mid to endgame players .(rating 9/10)
You can fish for an argentavis saddle blueprint with a fishing rod.
Easy early game tame to flying.
This is a must do for brutal mode players(Mobile)
Due to how slow XP goes up
Jump onto it with a bat and knock it out
Guys get one of these! I can not stress this enough. They are awesome! With enough health they can be flying tanks, and their OP stamina levels make up for their medium level speed. My argie Gibraltar can take out most dinos in one to three hits! He’s currently level 111 (ik not that good but it’s my first world I’ve actually played on and I was weak so max levels are like 115) They are also helpful when starting on a new base. Their saddles work as smithies and you can store all that crap on them easy peasy. Wild Dino broke all your armor? Rifle or crossbow snapped? Just turn around to your argie that you would obviously take every where bc you’re so smart! You can pop that stuff in there and it’ll be fixed in no time! Guys, seriously these are one of the best dinos to get. Good stamina, carrying weight, beefy fighters— what more could a man want?
For the one that wants to know where the keratin mine is I have no idea but there is a keratin spot on vulgaro where RGS are spotted and there's a lot of keratin over there like a lot
Can we talk about how the Argentavis are one the few flyers that don’t get a boost in speed after being tamed? For example every wild flyer is at 100% speed the normal speed, and if you knock out and tame a pteranodon then check their speed, it goes from 100% to 136% giving a 36% boost in speed just for being tamed. With the Argentavis even after being tamed it remains at 100% giving no boost😭 a fast Argentavis would be a completely game changer so that’s why they don’t give it a boost🥲 my current Argentavis is sitting at a 216% speed (that’s with a boost) and it’s faster than a wild Tapejara and that’s pretty fast. So if you’re gonna really invest into any Argentavis, it’s better if that argentavis is a fully imprinted one because with a full imprint it’s gives a 20% boost in health, weight, damage, and SPEED. That way you put less points into speed and add them mainly into weight because they’re great at transporting thing with the weight reduction. Anyways that’s all you mainly want to know about their speed.
Gotta say after the flyer nerf they seem to be less desirable but since it's tlc it has just been so useful for mid tier players, most of my high level mid sized dinos was tamed by my argent like my max level thyla, bary and even my ankies and doedics, everytime i venture out, i use my argent, yeah they are kinda slow but I'm in a single player save so it doesnt really matter, plus they can stay in the air for a very long time
You need about 2x4 gateways with enough doors for them then you fill up the top with roofs and you get to follow you in there
Trapping them is best with 4 stone dino gate, three close to each other and one slightly more apart so you can get out, plus 2 reinforced dino gates, lure it in,then close doors and tranq. Make sure to check the area around you, their spawn points are quite dangerous.
An easy trap method place 4 dino gates and have a gap between 2 that's just big enough so u can slip out put gates on the 2 outer gate frames open the gate u wish to lead the argy in once the argy is in the trap close the opened gate and quick and easy tame awaits ! Happy taming!😉✌
When you knock this bird out other argentavis are a great prime meat source!
