I know normal raw meat works as well, but prime meat at least triple's the speed of their taming. I tamed a level 150 today and it took 3 pieces of raw prime meat to tame it. Hope this helps you guys with taming!

They can’t be bola and they also don’t have call damage so if you knock it out in the air it won’t damage the argentavis

You can instant tame an arg, just need to almost knock it out, and check its torpor with a magnifiant glass, stop shooting it and give it a dead body. Once the arg eats it, shoot it really fast while it has its healing buff. If it’s knock out and still has its buff, the food will drain super fast. GLHF!

How To make an argy trap

You need this following things.

x4 stone gate way

x2 stone gate way doors

Place the 4 gate ways in a file make space in between the gaps so that you can go though. Place the 2 gate doors on each side. Leave one open and lure the argy in the trap ( try to take some hits so it does'nt lose interest). Once the Bird is in slip though the gaps that you made. go to the opened gate doors and close it as fast as you can. Ta da there your trap.

Extra. Try to shot at it from a range it can't attack you. Make sure that theres no bad things beat it. Chose a safe spot to tame. If you are confused go search. How to make an argy trap.

In Ark: Survival Evolved (mobile) Argentavis is one of the best aerial tame in the game.

It has a 50% weight reduction to some resources in the game, meaning you can carry twice as much the following resources:

-Black Pearls

-Crystal

-Metal

-Metal Ingots

-Obsidian

-Organic Polymer

-Polymer

-Stone

Its saddle also acts as a mobile smithy.

I recommend leveling up its multiple Argentavis for different rolls. I normally have two rolls, one to gather resources and the other for combat.

Combat Roll

-Primary: Health

-Secondary: Melee

-Tertiary: Stamina

And the last thing i can think of is when they eat a dead creature they gain a buff to regenerate their health and stamina faster for a few seconds.

If encountered do these two steps

1.Bola friend

2.Run

Their so slow you can Just shoot them with tranq arrows without a Trap or Something , even at pretty high Levels, Just be sure you are ready to Chase them for a short time If they start to flee

While they may be intimidating at first, the Argent is fairly easy creature to tame. Get three wooden dinosaur gateways and two gates and place them in a straight line, only leaving spaces big enough for a human to fit through and close one of the gates so it can't follow you straight through. Jump on your other flyer, be it a pterosaur or even another argent borrowed from someone. Lure the agent a couple of feet away until shes lined up just right and then sprint off behind the gate. Jump off your flyer and wait till shes in the trap, then run around and close the gate. After you check the area, tranq away and soon you'll have your very own argent

There are two traps for getting an argy trapped.

4x stone dinosaurs gateframe

2x reinforced dinosaurs gate.

The a other is the best because is really cheap. Look ok youtube "captain fat dog argentavis trap" its the best trap for argy, plus is 3 times cheaper

Me and my friend have about 50 of these from breeding. Just tamed 2 and let them breed. Eventually grew into an air force stronger than the US army, when combined with wyverns. We are going to try them out as a giga killing squad! Up if we should

I tamed like 3 of these last second so I can go home across the map with all the loot I wanted

Extremely effective for resource gathering. After you get a Pteranadon, taming an Argy is your next priority.

To tame an Argy, I highly recommend prime meat, but just regular meat will do. If it's a high level you can build a trap, but if your a real man like me, you can go up against it face to face

Do not use an Argy for flying distances. Argys are terribly slow and are made for resource gathering. Do the traveling with a pteranadon.

The reason rexes have a tek saddle is that rexes are famous. Same with megalodons and all the other things that have tek saddles. But really, let's be honest, almost nobody has tek saddles. You have to complete a hard dungeon to get a blueprint, or pay big bucks! At least those are the two ways i know of. Im on mobile btw. Really, argy's and spino's should get tek saddles, (you can find more info on argy tek saddle idea in argy, somebody left a tip about it, it has lots of likes so it's at the top too.) Because they're REALLY useful tames to have, in my opinion. I actully on two of each. Im going to put this tip in argy, spino and rex, so you will see it there. Please ^ if you want argy's and spino's to get tek saddles!

I was taming a level 135 on mobile, and ran to get some wood, and it disappeared. It was because of a stupid mobile bug. This is the second time it’s happened to me.

Pls get a saddle before taming one

I literally had to tame 10 argy because all kept dying due to rex or something on the way

This is the best thing you can get in ark. It can transport items and dinos really good for attacking me and my friend have just got a level 124 one and a 54 one and we killed an alpha raptor in 2 minutes XD

How to tame and utility:Usually found in ‘cold’ areas of the map Argentavis have weight reduction on Metal,Organic Polymer and Stones.

To tame take some sort of flyer to the outskirts of the North Zone.From there wait for 1 of them to enter rapid regen (eating a corpse/dead body) as then they will consume food extremely quickly (at most 1 minute to fully tame)

Argentavis are your best friends when it comes to ark, as they are helpful in so many ways such as harvesting meat, taming other creatures & so much more.

They can pick up medium sized creatures and even have a healing ability when harvesting a dead body (only happens when your riding the argentavis or when your argentavis eats a body by itself.)

Argentavis also have a weight reduction of a lot of resources such as metal, obsidian, crystals and much more. Argentavis can also go long distances if you put points into stamina, they may not be the fastest flyer but I'd rather carry stuff in my Argentavis's inventory than running from a pack of raptors on foot.

And on top of all that, argentavis can be extremely tanky when it comes to combat, they have high damage and a lot of health.

When u encounter it make sure no bad Dino is there or the Dino will kill it when u knock it out

So I was taming this lvl 140 female argie, checked it stats, saw the level 140 argie has 1950 stamina, double checked it, typed it in stats calculator and dude, 77 points in stamina?! that's unrealistic but it's real, i hope i can submit photos
