You can find them in the tundra, around most mountains, and on dead island. Keep in mind I play on switch, so I only have vanilla ark, no dlc.

DUDE I JUST STARVE-TAMED ONE OF THESE. I ALMOST DIED BUT EVENTUALLY I SHOT HER ENOUGH TIMES TO KNOCK HER OUT. SHE LANDED IN THE WATER BUT WAS STARVING AND I HAD 37 PEICES OF RAW MEAT, SO SHE WAS TAMED BEFORE SHE COULD DROWN.

So I was taming a lvl 135 arge with high melee and good health, right? A pack of hyeanadons came and murdered it as I was going to get prime meat.

When knocking out you just have to shoot with your tranq darts than walk backwards while shooting it and then use prime meat to tame

Argies have crappy aim also they circle around you

2 stone Gates facing each other then pillars stacked two high connecting the two finished off with a roof is a easy eagle trap (I think there's a easier one with only three Gates but I'm not sure)

Just lost my argent to an alpha carno. Was fighting the carno and ended up getting kicked off my argent Bc I flew too close to water. Died to a Baryonyx in the water and then spent the next several minutes trying to find the area at night. Got back just in time to be too far away to whistle and watch Angel die. R.I.P.

So basically these things are easy sort of to tame, it only takes 2 narcotic arrows before the thing starts to run you need good aim with a bow because once it's in the air it's way harder, but if you manage to stalk it to where it's going you can use 1 narcotic arrow to knock it out. I suggest cooked fish to tame them make sure you dont have any giant tames near it so it doesn't get stomped on also make sure you didn't make it fall near a bunch of predators. I suggest bringing small and medium games to protect you and the argy.
