Lure it on volcano and it get stuck at the metalnodes so u can tame and farm

Run and straff towards there feet so they cant hit you.

My first argi was a level 5 but if you get them noked out it's easy just hit it a few times with a trank arrow and bam it's out cold then it takes little amounts of food and narckhos if low level

If taming near the large mountain in the middle of the map lure them up and knock them out cuz they get stuck on the rocks easily

If playing with a friend, pick 'em up with a Ptera while flying away from the Argy after aggroin' and have them shoot away until he doubles back, once the argy is fleeing, catch up to it and hover over it while your friend tranqs it to keep them from friendly firing your ptera, also keep an eye on that stamina meter while keeping the argh from flying over water or hostile environments.

Arrows to the head go a long way when trying to kill these guys. This also goes for taming.

Great for taming smaller Dinos like direwolves as they can be picked up be the arge.

Argentavis can be used for a early game weight bird to transport metal and other times and can be used good in some battles.

a few things about argentavis:

advantages:

1. they are super useful as they have a 50% weight reduction on metal,crystal and obsidian

2. they can pick up medium sized dinos like the parasaur or raptor

3.whenever they eat corpses,they get a rapid regeneration that heals them fast as heck

disadvantages:

1:found in arctic and mountain areas which are both dangerous

2: flys slow

3:their saddle unlocks at lvl 62

If ur too lazy to trap and ur in midgame just get ballista turret and chain bola then shoot with tranqs

A good trap for these guys are a 1x1 foundation with double doors and a ceiling make sure the double doors are 2-3 high so that way the argy will actually fly in leave one side open and then kite the bird in and then close it with walls and it's an easy KO

Do not use longbow on this guy. I don’t know why you would use longbow but that would kill him. I once tried that because I thought it was the normal bow and I didn’t have my longneck with me so I shot him and he died.

Get a thick leather gauntlet and some meat on a length of rope. Attach the meat (sausage or bacon will do) to the rope. Do not attach onions or tomatoes as they simply will not work. It must be meat. To tame an Argy you need to know where they are they mostly come at the mountains the 2 mountains and volcano you need 3 stone dinosaur gateways and 2 reinforced dinosaur gates to trap in place your trap but not to close shoot an arrow to aggro or passive agro it hold your gate ready and when it is in the trap place the gate to trap it in. (lure Argy in the trap)
