The Argentavis is an extremly useful mount, and now it's even better thanks to its TLC, the argentavis has reduced metal weight but make sure to put the metal in it's inventory when riding it because if u the player is holding it while riding the argentavis it's wait will not be reduced, the argentavis also now is able to get a heal buff when it harvests a corpse, the argentavis saddle now works as a potable smithy. The argentavis is also a great dino for taming because it can pick up small to medium sized dinos, good argentavis is also strong enough to take down the likes of rex and spinos but yutis roar does effect the argentavis so watch out for that, all of the argentavis stats are amazing and I would highly taming up a few good argentavis, if you are looking to tame an argentavis look up on YouTube argentavis traps which will hel you alot, the argentavis is one of my personal favourite dinos. I found a beauuuttiiful silver argy he was a max level for ark mobile medium. 150 is max. I knocked him out and I looked at his picture and he was A WHITE ARGY. I went to go get a balm from lava cave and when I get back, HES GONE. THEN I FOUND 3 DAMN WOLVES RIGHT BY WHERE I KNOCKED IT. they ded.

This should have the same flight ability as the owl, there birds for cryin out loud

Build a trap, make a magnifying glass, tranq it til it starts running, check torper with glass. Drag a body to it. When it attacks again it will eat body and get healing buff tranq it out. If you knock it with healing buff food will b zero. Have mutton ready to go. Instant tame

These are the perfect guys for killing snails. I killed a snail with my lvl 140 and got 8 angler gel out of it. Wow

Great bird can do tons of stuff mostly in north areas at least on mobile

I don’t know if this is a glitch or not, but as soon as I equipped a saddle on this bird (tamed obviously) it turned into a flying portable smithy holding all of my smithy Engrams. Now I can craft more bullets on long hunting trips.

Argys don’t need saddles right? I have no idea

Fire toxicant arrows and it wil easily fall unconscious the saddle is easy to make. Mine is named Griffin and have had it for 1 year. Great for transporting cargo.

Argys are a great steed. They can carry small mounts, including Dire wolves and Sabertooths. Knocking them out is pretty simple, using a longneck rifle. Two shots can knock em out pretty nicely. Feed them with meat. Their pretty slow, but strong. Good tame!!

Best way is to build a pen out of dinosaur gates then agro the argy and lure it into the pen

Before you knock it out feed the argentavis a dead dino so its getting his health buff then knock him out. If you do that the argentavis food will go down and you can insta tame it.

This is the dino literally everyone will get at some point. They have great stamina, health, weight and melee.

My favorite Argie trap is 2x3 stone foundations , dino gate, and then pillars on the edge at every outside corner of a foundation, and one in the back middle. Then, 3 stone Ceilings from the back pillar to the gate. Pteras can go out, but not argies

Use 2 wooden gates as the trap with doors then lure the argy and knock it out boiiiiii

Kite them: run ahead of them because they fly slow. Run for about 5-7 seconds then turn and get some dart/tranq shots on.

When the run follow them:)

All over the mountains. But watch out! One time a pack of three came at me. Needless to say it did not end well.

A few easy steps on doing a good stone/metal run. 1. Get your argy and with it pick up your Doedicurus. 2. Metal run: fly to mountains. Stone run: fly to beaches. 3.gather stone/metal with Doedicurus. 4.transfer stone/metal to your argy pick up your Doedicurus and fly home.

Place wooden spike walls around the argy, or any other taming dinos. It makes the tame so much easier
