You can out run an argy on foot and turn around periodically to tranq it out. You have to quickly spam arrows when it starts to fly off.

One stone large Dino gate and 3 stone fence supports easy trap. Stack the fence supports in front of the gate about half a foundation away. Open the gate, kite the argy into the gate and while the argy is chasing you run into the center of the gate argy will fly into then just close the door and pop with tranq arrows(wait about 5 seconds after each shot) and boom all yours. easy tame.

These are such good fliers and I recommend everyone in your tribe gets one. They have amazing health and stamina, and they reduce loads of materials to 50% of their weight while in their inventory, namely crystal, metal, obsidian and stone which makes them great for carrying tons of items in less flights. They regenerate health whenever they eat a dinosaur corpse, and can carry many smaller dinos without issue.

They are good prime meat harvesters. A tamed argy can take on a bronto if the argys health stat is good, just attack the head/neck of the bronto.

It says that it takes more than four raw meat to tame a level 29 it only takes four on genesis part 2.

I dare you to tame one. Tame a male and a female argentavis with level 80 and higher and start to breed them ( I recommend using air conditioners). My pack of 5 level 150 argentavises killed a 8 lv alpha rex. Upgrade their health and damage. I bring my argy anywhere I go.

Try luring into to a 4 by 4 with door frames around it and let it fly down. It will be an easy knock out from there.

I don’t think bola works on this but there is somewhere that says what works on it along with what it can brake, be carried by, and other things.

If you’re a casual player with friends, I wouldn’t recommend going for Argentavis. If you’re playing single player, go for it at any cost.
