Hello im hawk the argy. Today i will show you my species utility information thingy-

It is a highly reccomended tame to middle game or half middle game players, but since its saddle lvl 62 it may needed some grinding! (Accidently tamed a lvl 1 argy so i repeatedly spam my points on movement speed)

Since its weight reduction of metal its very usefull! It can be your new best freind but it cant travel in caves so i still reccomend bary if u wana do cave hunting or exploring.

How to tame them with no traps!

get ur pt or just travel in the red woods or mountains to find argy’s but becarefull it has saber tooth’s and scorpions there! Id you find one make sure to make ur distance but u can just run far from it while its chasing you since it has the speed of a walking pt.. Once its knocked out feed it stego kibble (mob) Or prime meat! If you tamed it already and its a female. Lucky! Bc making argentavis kibble can tame a spino easily!!

Tbh, i tamed 12 argy by using at least 20 tranq arrows and a crossbow, a flyer, put it on passive, and let em attack the flyer. I reccomend using around 50 tranqs [if on 150, the medium hardcore] or 25 [For 30, the easier hardcore] I also reccomend using cooked meat like raw prime or cooked prime b/c it works better than normal raw meats

5x Superior Kibble (1 per kibble)

- 5 Large Eggs

- 5 Prime Meat Jerky

#1 Oil

#3 Spark Powder

- 10 Citronal (Must plant in crop)

(plot, find with Trike:Ig and 2 per kibble)

- 5 Sap (Plant sap collectors round trees and wait 10:20 time)

- 10 Rare Mushroom (Ankylo) (2 per kibble)

- 25 Fibre (5 per kibble

- 5 Waterskin (1 per kibble)

Trap:

3x Stone Dinosaur Gateways

2x Reinforced Dinosaur Gateway Doors

6x Ceiling

(ALWAYS BRING SPARE)

Unconscious Process:

2x Crossbow

50x Mininum Tranq Arrow but ideally 100+

Time:

Mininum Level 50 - 19 minutes 12 seconds

Maximum Level 200 - 53 minutes 43 seconds

It’s weak against water animals it’s good for collecting metal

Build a trap near them and lure them into it, then tranquilice them and tame with meat/prime

Can carry an Anki, anki has better weight reduction on heavy items that argi

Do not try to bola it is a bad idea I mean a very bad idea

I would recommend taming after pteranodon because they are aggressive and you can fly away faster on pteranodon. Argentavis has better stats and can carry better Dinos. Taming is not a waste of time

When takes me his is a valuable Dino, I use mine as attack birds and have bred 400% meelee and 4.5k health into mine. If I bring a mate boosted pair they can take out an alpha red with relative ease. Ps this is on an official sever.

EVERYONE....STOP...THEY CAN CARRY A SMALL TAME IN THE MOUTH. AND A BIG ONE IN THE FEET. FOR ANYONE WHO DOESNT KNOW ON CONSOLE ITS YOUR RIGHT JOYSTICK ON CONSOLE.

Pretty easy tame you need:

Pteradon

4 wooden dino walls

2 wooden dino gates

Kibble or prime meat (if not them meat)

Tranq arrows or darts

Narcotics

Method:

Go to fars peak

Make a trap at the beach below the mountain

Trap should be 4 dino walls line dis | | | |

And the 2 gates should be at either end.

Open one end and make sure your pteranodon can find through the sides but an argy cant

Find an argy and lead it into the trap (don’t worry, argys r slow)

When it’s in, close both gates.

Land ur pteranodon outside the trap and shoot it with tranq arrows.

When it’s knocked out fed it (for a level 2 prime meat does 30%)

Take ur pteradon to pick up any dilos or kill any threats

The torpor is pretty low so check up every now and then to check

After around 5-10 minutes

You have tamed an Argy!

Good job!

1. Find mastercraft or better longneck blueprint and build

2. Make shocking Tranq darts

3. Head to the mountains

4. Find lvl 150

5. Good luck

Useful for transporting goods across distances I can’t think of any thing else

Wild dinos can still hit you, also avoid picking up kapros, I don’t know why you would do that in the first place but they can still kidnap you mid flight so yeah one minute you’re just peacefully flying holding a kapro, the next your on the ground in the swamp fighting for your life as your argy is being eaten by barys and stuff

If I had to list my top 5 tames here’s what it would be.

Argy, Otter, Equus, Direwolf, Spino.

Argy above all else because they are :

1.Flyers

2.Can Cary most small-med creatures

3.Hp buff when you harvest corpses

4.Great for fighting

5.Needed for taming

6.Weight reductions galore

7.Mobile smithy

So get a darn argy!
