An very easy way to get metal using Argy is riding on any flyer then whistling follow to about 3 or more argys (I use tapejera as a flyer) then taking them to lava mountain . Remember to put lots of woods in argys inventory. Make an smelting place + storage at the top of the mountain put those woods in the forge . And request an anky to there then just mine all the metal with anky and put most of them to smelt and take out other in the Argy . And take them back to home. And let the other metal to smelt at your base. After a few in game days get back to that mountain with those argys and carry all the iron back to base .

Not really any argy tip but I used Argys in breeding, if you cryo the babies you dont want and find something you want to tame ex. Rex or a higher lvl argy, after you knock out your new dino, toss the babies out and slaughter them for prime meat that doesn't spoil as fast.

How to tame an argy.

Go right outside the arctic

Place 2 Dino doorways right next to each other

Put doors on them

Go find the argy you want and make it Agro on you

Run to your doorways

Open the first door and go in between

Wait for the argie to follow, when it does, shut the door and run out

Then the Argie is trappped

Feed it a corpse to make the healing affect start

Knock it out however you want ( WHILE THE HEALING IS STILL ON)

Put meat of any kind in its inventory, BAM it tamed in SECONDS!

Congrats, you have an argie! They’re saddle unlocks and lvl 62

Arguably easy to actually tame, hard to get to though

You can use the sleeping trick on any knock-out tame! Trap it, sleep and knock out. The food value will be 0.0. Now put food in inventory and you have tamed it in half minute! No starving and food spoiling!

I 100% recommend taming this its very op and if you want to carry lots of metal tame an anquilosaurus the anquilo has a 85% reduction of metal they are a very good duo

Great dmg, stam, and weight (speed isnt that good though, but u can lvl that up)

Good for pvp (if u have a good arg and u are good at snatching)

Also good for pvp because you can kill someones dino or a random wild dino (like some wandering dodo or dilo) and make ur arg eat the corpse, which gives u that one meme: ‘ ‘ Regen go brrrrrrr ‘ ‘

Why it says 100% chance of death? Idk. I slingshot the heck outta it and knocked a 140 argy out.

For a quick and effective trap make 3+ stone dino gateways and 2 reinforced Dino gates and place one and put a door in it then walk a couple of meters and place another one rinse and repeat until you are on your last one and for the last one put in your Dino gate.(more gateways means easier trapping and more room for the Argy to tame) then lead it in once you open one of the gates then run through the gap between the 2, tranq, give meat,mutton,prime, or kibble and voila you have an Argy or check out Captain Fatdog’s YT channel for a cheaper trap make popular if u though this helped

I've noticed Argies can't pick up anything when I'm on PVE, is that just for me or has everyone else had this problem?! Up if this is you too

These are arguably the best all round flier for traveling, they have good stam and carry weight, decent health and damage, and can regenerate health when harvesting meat, with an argie you could probably set up multiple bases around the map in about a week or two, I highly recommend looking for a high level instead of a low level because even though it may be harder to tame it will be worth it

Os really good in charging metal cause when I used an paracer it tools me one hour to go to the mountain and come back just with 451 of iron (had 850 of weight) and when I used an argentavis (450 weight) it took me 15 minutes and I get same as paracer

One of the most useful tames in Ark, especially for mid level players. I put a lot of points into health to help me carry creatures to a taming pen and a lot in stamina to make them killing machines. They can easily kill wyverns as long as the rider doesn't die. They are great pack animals, especially with the reduced weight for stone, metal, obsidian, and crystal. The only real downside is that they're somewhat slow, although they tend to have decent stamina which makes up for it a bit.

The easiest way to tame is to just shoot it with tranq darts or arrows. You will spend more time building a trap than knocking it out, it also does not wake up fast, so just tranq it. The hardest part, whether you have a trap or not is stopping Dino’s from trying to eat it while it is knocked out. I am lvl70 on ASE mobile, and love my argie. Just not enough to build a trap for them before taming.

If you don't want to spend a lot of time (especially newbies in mobile ARK) on building a trap and high cost of resources. I recommend the channel ' captain fatdog '. He has tips on building traps Argo, Gigi, Rex, Rinio and others.

These guys are pretty slow if you upgrade movement speed a bit so if you find one when you just start, you should be able to outrun it.
