They can almost carry every creature in ark get your friends and dominate the server 👆if this is helpful thx.

I use in pair with anky... Invest into weight for the argy and melee in anky (anky already has a busted reduced carry wait). Get over (at least) 1k weight in argy to carry the anky to metal nodes. You just need to drop them on the nodes ride them destroy node drop any stone/flint gathered and repeat. No moving on the anky required. Leave when 80% of argy weight is full for fast flight back to base with large collection. I got ~3300 metal with this (boosted rates/ single player)

I’ve had almost 5 argys … they keep getting murdered. I love these guys because their saddle has a smithy in it!

Here is how to tame an argie from a very scared cat player:

Get 3-4 gate ways and put enough distance between them for you to get through but not an argie line them up so it looks like this from a side view |||| next grab 2 gates and put them on both ends of the trap meaning the two on the very outside keep one closed and one open.

To trap: aggro the argie and lead it in the trap then close the open door then escape through the gaps between the gates.

Knockout: use tranq darts or arrows to knock out pay attention to the argies health using a magnifying glass is helpful so you don't kill the argie

Taming: argie is a carnivore so use any type of meat best to use mutton or prime meat or kibble if you have any but normal meat will work.

Uses: carrying medium creatures useful for metal gathering during to high weight

There are many of these traps on YouTube if still confused most YouTube vids of ark will use this trap or others.

These guys can pick up large juvenile dinos. I accidently picked a baby carno from a crowd of raptors while doing supply drop runs

Here's one of the best tricks in ARK MOBILE : If you sleep (with a bed or a sleeping bag), ALL the dinos in your render food bar will be set to 0 (when you make them unconscious, you can see that). After the taming process, the food bar will return to full again (no matter how much taming food you gave the dino). Thanks for reading

Once I was getting metal and stuff but then I got thirsty in the game I looked everywhere but I couldn't find water. Then I passed out I saw my Argy then it just glitched and teleported away. Sence then I couldn't find him. Then I found a fish I tamed and it said following silver stone.Pray for silver stone.

NO NEED FOR A TRAP. CROSSBOW AND RUN BACK AND FORWARDS WILL DO JUST FINE

Would recommend use with a anky and go long distances to find metal if the metal veins near you are not respawning

Steps on how to tame a argentavis:

1. Build 4-5 stone gate frames place them in a straight line place then distant but not to distant or the Argentavis will fly through the top, build 2 reinforced gates and place one at the end leave the other one in your hot bar.

2. Get the argentavis attention, make him follow you into the trap and place the other gate then run through the side.

3. Use around 50 tranqs just in case you miss

Use a primitive crossbow.

4. There carnivores so they eat meat mutton/prime will work or kibble if you have!

There is a easier way to do this.

Just shoot the bird while he is following you when his torpor starts to get High he will try to fly away so trap might be better whichever way you prefer! -Boycicle

Better have low level argy than no argy at all!!! Even low levels have great stamina, not mentioning that their ability to pick up dinos! Trust me, any argy would make your life easier

Argentavis is hands down one of the most important tames you or your tribe will need early game. It’s an amazing workhorse tame. They have:

1.) Huge carrying capacity. weigh scales insanely allowing it to carry well over 10k with a balanced build and easily double to triple that if you min-max.

2.) Stamina for days. Easily fly corner to corner in one go as long as they aren’t encumbered.

3.) can lift and carry smaller Dino’s. Anything smaller than a Carno, basically can be lifted by an Argy. Most notably, Anky and Doeds for mining. Allowing for easy solo/duo mining.

4.) Also allows you to transport smaller Dino’s to a safe spot your taming. Especially stuff like snails.

5.) good for combat and harvesting primes early on.

6.) You can use it to solo tame a quetzal.

Biggest drawback to an Argy is it’s slower than other flyers, like Ptera and Wyverns. But, still faster than a Quetz. But for what you get it’s an easy trade off.

Short Taming Guide:

1) Go to East beach by giga mountain (North 1 / East 3).

2) Set up the argy trap on the beach (4 stone gateways with one gate at each end).

3) Place down some beds for back up.

4) This area often has argys flying around on the beach, so if you see one shoot it with an arrow and lure it into trap.

5) Tranq it using body shots mainly.

Please note this is a guide for those who lack a flyer or tame which can get them to more dangerous argys spawn zones.

I feel like dodo needs to add another KO factor for X creatures now the genesis is out cuz they take way more darts than a normal argy

ON MOBILE: They can't carry dimetrodon

If you want to quickly tame one use tranq arrows WHILE it’s using that regen aura it eats food extremely quick taking about 10 seconds to tame

Do NOT try and breed these until you have that air conditioner unless you wanna end up in the tundra with 6 campfires and a wall of spikes like me :/

Don't go near an argent early game. Shall it agro onto you at a low level try find a weak dino, kill it, leave the corpse and run the same direction your running. They will be distracted by the corpse.
