Just like a basi tame. Clear the area and feed superior kibble. Taming on 1x bring about 25 you should be able to tame any high level. (30 just to be safe)

They spawn all over astraeos, and they usually have jellyfish near them. All you need to do is shoot the jellyfish with a crossbow and harvest. Should take a couple of them but its fine. Since the oceans in Astraeos are very shallow (with the archelon) its very easy to get silica pearls by killing trilobites. I got 200 after i killed a couple herds. So tame this thing ASAP!

Passive tame with bio toxin(jellyfish drop bio toxin and archelon are found by jellyfish)

These large turtles have a large amount of health, and have damage reduction similar to the carbonemys. Aim for the head and fins to avoid reduced damage. Along with damage reduction, they are immune to torpor. They are often attacked by other water dinos, so prepare for other dinos to come fight both you and the archelon.

They seem to share a spawn with Cnideria, so be aware of that. Can be useful because you can kill them for the bio toxin to feed the Archelon. I seem to see one beached everytime I go to Herbivore island.

If you want its algae, it has to be tamed. Once you have tamed it go up to it, and go into its creature menu. Then look for the algae icon and you can collect it! There is a timer so you can’t get a tun at once, but it’s the best non-kibble food for most herbivores! Have a nice day! :)

They spawn by cnidaria (jellyfish). So if you can't find their spawn frequency map online then just find it for the jelly

Going in one direction with change will increase its speed

Cannot be deployed on Abberation sadly. Class locked. Algae can be transferred over though!

They can come with very high health so really good for raid in water

A level 55 took roughly 5 and a level 90 took about 8 ish at 30 to 40 second intervals with superior kibble.

Slowly makes algea that can be used to tame herbivores, can also use the algea for sushi that ups the taming affectivenes. Makes more algea when in the water

I used Exceptional Kibble to tame two, even though the Wiki says Superior Kibble. Save yourself time and effectiveness by using kibble instead of bio toxin.

Huh, it seems that these guys occasionally hang out with jellyfish, at least on the island map. Keep an eye out for that bluish glow in deep waters. Just don’t get stung, y’all know the drill. Oh, and watch out for those ninja plesiosaurs.

The Dino one shots jelly fish is immune to their dismount and immune to eel stun. The archelon is also very slow but has rlly good stamina and health, its damage is mid. But it gets a buff when it is to kill a jelly fish similar to when you kill bugs on a megatherium. All and all this is honestly a really good tame to have especially because it’s saddle gives you infinite oxygen while riding it or close to it.

This is very useful for the cnid haters as they are amazing at harvesting biotoxin and are great at DEMOLISHING groups of cnids
