The good things about this guy is that it can be used as a safe landing parachute. To tame these, you’ll need a lot of patience, a longneck rifle with 5-8 Tranq darts in case you miss. Use a pteranodon and sit on a safe rock and await for the archy to come down the tree. Once you see one of the ground, unmount and knock it out, then feed it the Chitin. The lastly good thing is that on mobile, there food goes down tremendously slow, and chitin doesn’t spoil. So make sure to put lots of chitin in its inventory, I recommend you to use a Pteranodon with this and hold on to your archy and if the pteranodon runs out of stamina, unmount and glide for 5 seconds, then land. Never eland in a dangerous area again

Most people think this chicken is useless but you can use the archaeopteryx to fly for an unlimited amount of time! Just have an argy (or any other flying creature) on follow with a low following distance and when it is low on stamina drop from your bird and go back on it after a few seconds.... your bird is now full of stamina!

Ok so this is king raptor (I have about two Raptors tamed an three breed)And I have been seeing a lot of complaints of y'all saying you can't get down after parachuteting with them. If your on mobile jus attack and yourselves will trow them. Can't believe you didn't know that

So umm I tryd to use a sling shot with stones and IT DOSE NOT WORK so umm yeah

I love these little guys so much and they’re so much fun! When you aren’t goofing off and jumping off cliffs with them they prove very useful. If you jump off your flyer(don’t forget to whistle your flyer to follow, if not it might land) while holding your little dude the flyer will remain suspended in midair will regenerate stamina. I tested this on a metal run once and learned that my argy dropped my ankylosaurus that it was carrying when I dismounted so keep that in mind.

Im gonna beat the tech cave with this guy, a tech suit, and an ascendant pump-action shotgun.

On scorched earth, I find these all the time and get scared because they look exactly like microraptors.

WARNING: don’t try picking it up with a flyer it will loosen the grip and glide away so just tame it right where it is

Guys, on PC version you can switch between gliding and falling by pressing R (or whatever you set for Reload)!!

Super glitchy on mobile, half the time you can’t hit them wasting ammo and other times they will just teleport away. Wasted a couple hours trying to tame one. Not even worth it, got so close only for the game to glitch an to not be able to feed it narcos.

Where are they In genesis

If you have trouble finding some, get the Genesis DLC on the Ocean map to find tons

This guys are for a very situational use. Since they wont allow you to use your hands while grabbing them, you cannot take out items or guns.

Not really useful if you are heading out for a tame run cuz not even a spyglass you are allowed to use while grabbing them.

Check other tribes platforms if able, I've found a couple stuck on them.

I lag to much to get one but is it a knock out tame or passive do they eat meat or berries
