Nifty little tame, sadly you have to hand carry like other smaller carriers, it is not a shoulder pet.

This tame is for the mazes and areas that require you to jump or float over the floor or large pits.

They are not as good as a parachute, because parachutes are easily made and the glide down faster. The bonus to using one of these guys is you don't need bridges and they are small eggs for kibble. Overall a useful tame,but not nessecarily worth searching and using all the time.

Square on PS4 to stop glide. Again to re-enable it, albeit at an increased but safe descent

They are a tamed churn creature and they can float freely in the air

Parachute but cute. In all honesty these guys are pretty crap and only worth taming for lap pet.

I think this is a pretty good tame! They are really fun to use and they are quite cute. They are easy to tame as well. The only con I can think of right now is that it’s kinda hard to get down but overall I would get one if I were you😌

On pc press R on the keyboard to start and stop gliding,it is very useful for leading animals of an edge on scorched and it oftenly found between smaal rocks and hairy trees.Definately an underrated animal I would strongly suggest it.

Don't use kibble, chitin is much better.

Jumping from even the slightest difference of terrain will have you soar all the way to herbivore island.

I have found that they like to get caught under my tree platform. They only fly up after that so you just need to shoot them from below.

To activate glide (on PS4 controller) press Square to start and stop

In multi don’t even try to tame these guys they always glitch away and you always miss

Cannot be carried by a argent they seem to be to small to really be cared and can sometimes be found in trees

These guys are super easy to tame and super helpful I love to glide around on them I’m the center the are even good at getting other animals to run after them and you can just stand by and shoot

Tip:Go to the Redwoods Build a Tree Plate Thing Step 2.Wait for these to Scrape their Face on the Tree plate Thing Step 3.Punch it until its Knocked out Step 4.Make Sure You Have Chitin On Ya Step 5.Feed it Chitin And Narcotics. Step 6.Use this as a Parachute(or A Pet To Display But I mostly Use this For Tames And Stuff)(these are also Cute)

If on console and your character's arms are too short, pressing x/reload will just open its inventory instead of stoping glide since your head/camera is too close to its body.

Dunno if it’s a bug or something but on mobile, nothing seems to ever attack it, tamed or not. However, hostile mobs will still Agro onto you, so just be careful not to use this in caves (you WILL be swarmed) I learned the hard way with that last one.
