I'd recommend herbivore island to the SW of the map, while it may seem heartless it's easy to kill the parents and get the baby if there is a child present, it won't loose torpor if you r using berries and it gets imprinted

Wild Ankylosaurus cant be carryed by argy ,but tamed can
