Pump in pure melee don't waste time with weight let the quetz take the weight you'll be doing 6-8 k per trip

Takes a long time to starve, so be prepared if you're in a dangerous area

The 22 kibble thing for a 150 is wrong or something. I left one with 22 kib and even gave it five extra narcotic. When I got on this morning it desspawned overnight or woke up or something.

First, pick one up with a flying dino to bring it away from its herd. Then you can just keep shooting at it while walking backwards, they’re really slow so as long as you keep your distance you should be fine.

Keep shooting at its head with tranqs, it shouldn’t take too many arrows/bullets to knock it, but for my level 100 it took about 40 arrows with a compound bow.

Warning, if your ever goning to tame an anky, you might want to find one that is alone. I tried to tame one around like 3 others and got chased into a pack of Raptors. Yeah.... I'm not very good at taming things. But if you do want to do that, just get another friend and have you and them shoot at the ankys one after another so that they get confused. You can also use a moth to make them slow down and just sit up on a rock and shoot them with a couple of tranq arrows.

Leveling up its melee does not increase the amount of metal you obtain unfortunately. However it does make it easier to break the rocks.

Even on herbivore Island be carful because my lvl 150 got killed by another ankle it must have hit on accident when trying to hit me it died in 4 hits I couldn't kill it in time it was a lvl 145 I was annoyed but I tamed that instead. XD

Avoid the tail and stay away from water

At the moment available information for P+ preffered food is varied and incorrect. After testing it looks like barley is the food of choice.

After you tame one use a raft to get him across the water unless you have a quetz THEN THIS MESSEGE IS IRRELAVANT

If u find a level 3 which should have 700 health u need a slingshot and 70 stone find one and keep shooting with the slingshot in the face and when it runs away come after it and and just keep shooting it until it’s unconscious and there u have a ankylo

The amount of narcotics is wrong for if you try to berry take this amazing creature so make sure you bring more

How to kill a ankylo. Have a gun (make sure with bullets). Avoid the tail while building a trap.

With a taming raft they are extremely easy to knock out but take quite a few tranq arrows in comparison to other dinosaurs their size. They have a fairly long range with their tail and can inflict devastating damage if they hit you or your boat. I generally use a slingshot or the first tranq Arrow to get its attention and since they're so slow you can easily cut it backwards wherever you needed to go. It will lose interest if you get too far away from it so try to stay fairly close.

They don't attack you unless you attack them, they are really slow, when tamed put on the side of a quetz to gather metal this is so you can get as much metal as possible. Not putting weight on the quetz

When you find a dino you want to tame thats on foot you can make a u shape out of cages. You place one cage then open it then place the next. After uve made a u shape shoot the dino and have one cage closed. Run through the opening turn around and you can continue to knock out the dino. Best done close to a cliff you can then completely encircle the tame in cages and not waste recourses to do it because you can pick the cages back up. Small dinos that agro wont be able to get to the tame but rexes can.
