It is very easy to tame and it is necessary. Very slow creature, can be simply tamed with a crossbow and running when it gets closer

Takes 4 tranq arrows (4 stone arrows, 20 narcoberries, 4 spoiled meat and a mortar and pestle to get the tranq arrows) to ko these guys

They are good limestone/clay/metal collectors move faster in water.

I would reccomend getting dilos asap for eggs and a pack of 4-5 med-high levelswill be great for base defense early on in the game. Once you get enough dilo kibble for a decent level ankyo then go for it. The ankylo is a must have if you plan on advancing to metal gear.

If you want to tame one, get a crossbow with narc arrows then utilize its wide turn and kite it. Very easy KO if done this way. They travel in herds so try to find one away from the group. Happy taming!

They have buff of metals u just need this guy with weight and dmg and 1 quetz ez for metal farm

Kill an ankylo is a crime against humanity.is the coolest dino biggest farmer

I think u can knock him down with a lightning wyvern that can help alot.

It is not fun being in the middle a threesome with this Dino and 2 stevia after u steal there egg.

Best is to pump melle and weight in to a quetzal so you can get metale and bring it to base to smelt in the forge

Use it for collecting metal from small stones it collects about 3-9 per 1 stone

This dinosaur has the biggest rate of gathering metal

Convert half your metal to ammo before you leave the mountains.

On taming its saying no need of narcotic while feed its not true i was taming 150 and i had to feed narcotic to keep it unconcious

Once u ko the anky its torpidy goes down slow i suggest a crosbow and tranks 2 take it down

Wild ones will do 1 damage per hit to stone...doesnt seem like much but if you can manage to quetzal in as many as you can find before starting a raid and get them to start atacking those numbers start stacking up...on top of almost being equal to a rex for base damage per hit and not easy to kill because of knockback...most turrets wont be on wilds and with the mate boost they wont die easy

Stand on a rock or high surface so you don't get hit

Cruise the Beaver dams and the center and you should find some. Grab with quetzal and drop it in a pen for an easy tame.

1. Craft club and tranq arrows

2. Go to Herbivore Island and find a couple

3. Kill most. The others will get mad

4. You can also carry most away with a Large-flier-that-can-carry-most-things or a Tusoteuthis if the group is near a beach

5. Knock one out

6. Put berries in inventory

7. While taming unlock saddle

8. Enjoy your Ankylo

Found one the exact same color as the Dododex pic. Tamed it and named it tank :)
