Knocking it out and letting it starve then wake back up and tranq again. 0 narcotics and 1 tamed anky

For this guy I reccomend having an argy with lots of weight the two are an amazing pair and with the argy you can carry the anky to a safe location (such as an abandoned cave) so you don't have to worry about protecting it. On official I went through 20 narcotics and a few stacks of narcoberries on a lvl 50 so be prepared to wait a long time but in the end a 50% weight reduction on metal will be worth

You can knock one with a slingshot. I tamed one on extinction with a slingshot and it didn’t do much damage to it

Very easy to tame. It's very slow and can be knocked out with a slingshot. So it makes it a creature that can be tamed on a low level. Just put some mejoberries and some narcoberries (or Narcotics if you are high enough level) just in case.

U can use a slingshot to tame it its that easy it was my first tame i tamed it at level 12 u dont need no trap or nothing

If your on SE use boomerang very easy to knock out an anky

Not sure if it is just me but I have killed 2 ankys in a row trying to knock out with crossbow. I suggest darts

Haven't been able to pick ankys with Crystal Wyverns. Might just be bugged

I got on my argy valkery and went to snow biombe picked good level brang it home and tamed it name:spike

When taming on herbivore island I recommend using a small pen, because when Ankys start running they go straight for water.

Suuuuuuuuuuuuper easy to tame, just make sure you have plenty of tranq arrows and you’ll be fine just walking backwards. Just in case, though, know that he makes more knockback then damage. Also, find him at herbivore island from a boat, don’t worry about liopleuredons, they’re so rare, you don’t have to worry about them.

I tamed a lvl 7 and it did not take 1 hour, his name is anky

If you get 80 rocks you can take it out with a slingshot

Make a 2X2 structuur without a roof and use your Argy and take the Anky to it, drop it into the pen and leave it there for a long time, then knock it out and it’s hunger will be 0.

This works with most Dino’s but the bigger it is the bigger the pen should be.

You can put fires next to it cuz unlike us survivors it doesn't have a water bar so in comparison it will drain hunger instead

Just use a normal argy trap then you can tame in peace.

I just tamed an anky on 2x and for some reason it took wayyy more kibble than it should’ve.

Easy to knock out but takes time to tame if you dont use balm or kibble. Its torpor is slow.

For mobile it needs dilo kibble

A hill and longneck rifle do the trick.
