Fly on a platform quetz, use argy to carry anky to the metal, use anky to gather and store metal

Anyone else mine by the green obelisk lots of river rocks

For a lvl 20 female i use 5 tranq arrows and a crossbow

On the fjord map the place that I saw them the most was the volcano island

It sucks thats argies can’t pick them up anymore argie and anky best combo for quick metal runs

1. Craft club and tranq arrows

2. Go to Herbivore Island and find a couple

3. Kill most. The others will get mad

4. You can also carry most away with a Large-flier-that-can-carry-most-things or a Tusoteuthis if the group is near a beach

5. Knock one out

6. Put berries in inventory

7. While taming unlock saddle

8. Enjoy your Ankylo

tame a argentavis find a ankylo pick it up bring it back to your house were its safe and tranq it out, never tame sum to close to danger cause they usually spawn in the red woods or moubtains... GIGA!!!!

Once knocked out, keeping it down will be the least of your problems if you taming in the wild. I suggest to build a primitive trap with stone foundations and pillars. Get an argy and pick one up with right click. Drop it off in the trap and keep a distance - it will fight back, and it will hurt. Once down in the trap, it will very unlikely to wake up before it will be tamed. Good luck.

Everyone keeps saying lvl melee WRONG!if u play mobile u cant get amber from metal nodes on an anky get a asc pick or crowbar and have anky follow u on lowest setting and have it carry 4 u they get reuced raw metal weight easy 5k runs

Why can't ankys damage stone or metal they should

When taming a lvl 300, I was able to do it successfully with a 450 scorpion. Just sting it twice, then run away for 20 seconds. Repeat

A person collects about 18 obsidian from 3 obsidian rocks while the ankylo collects about 16 obsidian per obsidian rock

For you newbies never try to tame an ankylo near one another because once you attack 1. The others team on you. I saw a Rex attack one and seven others teamed on it and killed a lvl 22 Rex. So if you are trying to tame one I recommend finding a suitable lvl that is not near the others

With a quetz you can harvest lots of metal and obsidian, if you build a small hut on the side of the volcano you can put forges in and convert to ingots fast to bring home easier.

Put the anklylosaurus and quetzal on the volcano to get lots of metal and obsidian (and crystals if you need them). To get the most goods out of a metal run pick the ankylo up with the quetzal and then just swing. The anklylo will get encumbered really quickly but the quetz won't so get more goods. Also I believe there is a way to get all the metal in one run without the quetzal gaining weight but it requires a platform saddle on the quetzal. If you did it right picking up and dropping the anklylo will put it on a ceiling and you can fly with it without picking it up. I think I know the way but I can't explain how it is done in words. If you did this with a player you won't get as much metal and you have to stop afterwards cause you won't collect anymore when hitting the rock. And a anklylo alone would take longer to get the same amount of metal and it will take awhile to get all of it to base(for me and people who has there home far from the volcano)

Exactly 2hrs. Lv. 25 ankylo. Tossed in, 1500 mejoberries, used narcotic and narcoberries. (Just kept meter full entire time). I wouldn't try the stimberry trick mentioned above,unless you don't care about the bonus.
