They can not get oil from oil Rock on or near the volcano on the map lost island

It may be a bug on mobile version, but currently ankylos don't gather metal when you put them to wander. They hardly move at all when left by themselves on wander. You gotta ride them yourself to make them useful on mobile.

They are all over herbivore island, if you are wanting to tame one it would be best to find an alone one because if one gets hit they all come for you and it is best to walk in a straight line in front of them and keep hitting them in the head with trank arrows until knocked out.

to tame easier shoot in the legs or face then start running then turn around every time you reload and shoot over and over till the torpor run happens you’ll know when he starting running away from you

ankys can be picked up by argys.

How to tame an Ankylosaurus:

1. Ankylos are slow, so you can knock it out while walking, or build a small structure using stone to tame it more safely.

2. When you find an ankylo, start shooting it with a tranquilizing ammo, like tranq arrows or certain darts.

3. Keep shooting until it's knocked out. After it's knocked out, feed it berries, veggies, or a preferred kibble.

Always use an Argy to drop into a 4x4 stone doorframe pen for taming.

The Ankylo is a great creature for harvesting metal rock, it gets around 70 metal per hit, and take’s out rocks with one hit.

Tame a high level anky, level health, get ascendant saddle BP, tame argy, pick up the anky with your argy, drop it on the enemy tribe’s base

You:

-1 anky

-1 ascendant anky saddle

VS.

The enemy tribe:

- all the bullets in their turrets

+ lots of grinding to make new turrets

+ 1 ascendant anky saddle

You can easily outrun Ankylosaur on foot

Metal not stone flint not stone thach not wood

Trying tame one ankylo is a good idea but not a level 350 or 200 just knock out a 20 level and when yiu level up a bit you can do another one a bit higher than the other one

The Ankylo is not recommended for hitting things like morrelatops, or adolescent morrelatops, or baby morrelatops, because all morrelatops are stronger than said Ankylo that wants to damage a morrelatops. The morrelatops is said enemy for an Ankylo. Seriously. The morrelatops is a wild thing that is a damager to an Ankylo that desires to inflict pain on said morrelatops.

If it’s in a herd try to lead it away than tame it.

You need to tame it for more metals and he ages kibble

Climb a rock, make sure it can’t climb too, then shoot it with tranqs. I managed to knock it out with 3 trans arrows. Mejoberries are better than the other berries. Takes awhile to tame.

(Mobile players) Tame about 5 or more of these-or breed and imprint*optional them if ya want after finding both male&female, and then with your anky squad bring via eagle or quetz"if ya have one by now" or teleport them all to metal mountain 🤭"Ahem!!!"...tallest mountain close to center of map... and then set them on wander to smack-a-doo whatever they beef with up there..."psst...there is alot of rocks and metal veins up there including some crystal". Let them handle their to do's for a min or so then command whistle follow all and watch the troopers run over to inspect their quarry, if any or all havent clocked some work in then bring em to a spot not cleared yet whilst still following then whistle stop all...are they still set on wander mode...? Maybe. Transport your load any method by wings, land mount, or personal favorite by foot to your humble abode and relish in a decent amount of sparkies and heavy stuff to put into heavy shiny stuff maker...theres probably an easier way to make those but i havent found it yet so yeah back and forth up and down the rocky earth pimple gushing with the temporary metal and rock goo i go...i did try using parachutes but...i set my abode in the humble safety of herb island...yeah...anywho-diddly its impooossible for anyone to make a base or something up there, i have no idea where anyone including me to find the stuff to make it up there since mountians barely hold and trees and plants...just rocks....lotsa rocks.
