When I woke up something didn't feel right. I was cold for one thing but Chicken was gone. I sat up and looked around. What is saw was terrifying. Feathers were scattered everywhere, blood coated and ripped up. Blood was everywhere. Tears welled in my eyes, I stood and followed the blood trail. It led to the door. I pushed it open. Everything was gone, all the dinosaurs, tents and workbenches. I followed the trail to the woods. It was very cold this morning. I shivered and rubbed my hands together.
"Chicken!" I called. No answer. Watching the trail on the ground, I came to a clearing. I collapsed at the sight of Chickens dead body laying there. Crawling to her body, I tripped and cut my arm.
"I'm sorry Chicken, so sorry." I sobbed, pulling her close despite the blood that was staining my hide armor. About 20 minutes later I stood up, Chickens body still in my arms, and walked over to a huge tree. I layed the little birds body on the ground and began digging. Once I had carved a hole big enough for her small body, I took her carefully in my arms and stared into her eyes for a while. Something glinted under her feathers. Her tags! They were still intact (tamed creatures get dog tags that you place around their necks so people will know their names and who they belong to)! Carefully, I pulled the tags off of her and placed her in the hole. I hung the tags from the tree and began slowly pilling dirt into the hole. After she was completely covered, I grabbed flowers and rocks and decorated her grave. With one of the rocks, I carved her name into the tree. Grabbing the tags, I placed them around my neck and wiped the tears from my eyes. No matter what I would get revenge, no matter what it took.
(3 Hours Later...)
I am starving. I need food, I fear I will not be able to keep my promise to my fallen friend. Instead of going back to the house, I went the opposite direction. I will never ever go back to that damned place. I don't care weather Pathro had anything to do with Chickens death but he will pay. That's when I remembered Sand. Pathro had given her to me, and he can't get her back unless I tell her she is his again. With the little strength I had, I whistled. Waiting, I picked some berries from the near by bushes.
When I opened my eyes I was chained to a platform being pulled by Carrot and Apple, the two equus Pathro had tamed. My head ached, where am I? Why am chained? Where is my master? I was worried, even though Lexi had only been my master for a couple days, I still felt I was closer to her than to Pathro. That's when I heard it. A long and low whistle. It sounded far away. Lexi! She was calling me! I tried standing but didn't get very far. The chains kept me stuck against the ground. I barked and howled until Night stepped up onto the platform.
"Night! You must help me! Lexi needs me!" I told him
"I'll try..." Night looked around first to be sure no one was watching and then began chewing on the rope that held my chain collar to the ground. Eventually the rope on one side was snapped
"Perfect! I'll help you with the second one!" I started chewing the other rope. Night was about to sink his teeth into the rope when Pathro whistled for him
"I have to go, your on your own until I can help you," He nodded to me and then ran in the direction Pathro's whistle had come.
"Ok," I replied grimly. I go through the second rope and stood up. My limbs were stiff and they ached. Shaking my head, I leapt from the platform and towards Lexi's whistle.
It's been and hour and I'm beginning to think Sand is dead or Pathro's again.
I froze and looked at the bushes. Something is there, I know it. I stood up, no longer am I afraid. Walking to the bush I grabbed the small knife I had in my pocket, the one and only thing I took from Pathro's home. Before I could reach the bush a large sand colored wolf burst from the bush and stood proudly in front of me.
"Sand?" A smile spread slowly over my face
Sand wagged her tail and barked loudly.
"Shh!" I laughed, hugging the dog. My happiness faded though. Sand took notice and sat down, her head tilted
"Chicken is gone," I began to cry again. Sands head fell. For the past few days Sand and Chicken had become best friends. They would run and play and eat, they'd even sleep together! Sand stood and tapped her neck around my shoulders. I cried into her fur for a little while before standing up and wiping my tears away, again. Sand wagged her tail and stood. I smiled, climbed onto her back, and patted her neck
"Alright Sand, you came from wherever Pathro is, correct?" I asked her. Sand barked in response, I'm gonna take that as a yes
Well for about 2-3 years me and my friends have been calling the Anky Metal Slut, might not be child friendly but if you get a chance Use this name on old ankys or even your best one, just to keep the name around, sadly I don’t play ark anymore because most of my friends are older and are adults and even have kids so I would just like to pass down this name for future ark players and bring some joy and laughs back to the community, Love ya ark players have a time playing hope genesis 2 is treating you well, have fun now while you can not every ark Tribe lasts that long !
I lost my level 42 ankylo "tank" because of manta's long story short i was swimming to the other side of the lake where i live because my 2 dons and i got attacked by 2 manta's and then tank went into the water but my lv 5 rex rib cage killed them both and i was stupid and didn't do a head count and then it said tour tank drowned 🥺and i literally was Bawling my eyes out fot literally like 30 minutes and then that night i thot of tank and i cryed again i never let my dinos in the water again and now my Brusa is my killer kylo she is lv 11 and i only upgraded her melee damage please like for tank 🥺 never let your ankylos in the water they will die
Once, i saw an anky near the volcano, so i picked it up and dropped it in the center (i was on mobile ), and started beating it with a club while my argy watched, when it was knocked out, i fed it some berries i found in the red bushes, when it was taming, i saw the anky was a beautiful colour, it was all black except for a few bronze stripes running down its back, long story short, it didn’t go well, my bird started to punch it for no reason and in a few seconds it was dead
I had an Ankylo named Anky. (My tribe mate named him.) We were out getting metal so everyone in our tribe could get a pistol. We were getting metal easily, when suddenly 4 raptors and an alpha raptor attacked us from behind. He provided a distraction for me to escape. I escaped, but Anky didn't make it. He is honered by my tribe for saving me and providing us with metal and companionship.
Thanks for being patient, I was waiting for name suggestions.
Secondary main Character:Rick
Jerry (the main character) wanted to get off those pillars more than anything, but his friend had saved his life, so he stayed put.
He could hear something massive slowly approaching, he asked "was this supposed to happen" and the man reassured him that all was fine. Soon he saw a giant head starting to come out of the trees. For a moment, everything fell silent, and then the creature roared, as it ran out into the open. It snapped at Jerry as he slid down the pillars and ran for his life. What he heard his friend say terrified him, "wait, that's not a Rex, it's an allo, and they only come in packs...."
