TIPP: How to trap a Leedsichthy (the giant whale)

In this tutorial I will Show you how to easily trap a Leedsichthy.

Before I start with the tutorial i want to say that there are 2 ways to trap him. The 1st way is that you build a giant square inside the water where he can fit in and the 2nd war is that you leed him inside the "river" of the Red Obelisk and close both entrys to the river. Just follow those steps:

1) surch for a Leedsichthy and remember where he is (they often spawn near Herbivore Island)

2) Go to the Bottom of the ocean and surch for a Ammonite. When you find one let him bite you.

3) go to the leedsichthy and lead him inside your giant square or the river of the Red obelisk and close up all entrys.

4) kill all fishes except the Leedsichthy

5) Enjoy scrabing of his prime fish meat (he wont get aggro as long as you dont hit him)

It really works well! I trapped mine inside the River of the Obelisk

You really can’t tame this without mods or cheats, so if you really want one you need a mod or a cheat to get this guy.

Mouth is sideways-lips and not a BEAK like a modern nautilus. Once again Wildcard ignores common logic!!

If u could tame:

If you kill this I prefer you refining the hide first and then cooking or using whatever else comes out. I mean I have only been to two islands so I don't know if I should use a different method on different islands or something, but good luck to those who have made it farther than me.

I lost my believes in Ark when 1 palagornis, 3 megalodon, 3 manta, 2 electrophorus, 3 angler fish, 4 jellyfish ran to kill me and my main megalodon.. Thank God my mega was so high level that I killed all of them and ran to surface and 2 trike, 1 carbo, even 1 petra attacked me!! Bruh you fkin serious??? Never gonna bite this mfs.. such a pussy 🤬

Do you guys think these guys should drop rare flower?

I am listing a unique capability of every creature in ark.

Since you cannot tame this thing I can’t really list anything really cool but it is the only thing that drops ammonite venom which is needed for pheromone darts and can be used to tame a dreadmare

Use ark.gamepedia.com to find just about everything you need to know about these guys, including where they can be found on each map (Search bar top right corner).

This is the most friendly creature in the ocean. If you punch it near aggressive wild aquatic life (e.g. mosa) it will squirt a friendly scent that will tame all aquatic life nearby for you. I recommend punching it near a mosa cave or a near any packs of aggressive life to insta tame them

The ammonite as soon as you punch it like the noob you are:

“I am… inevitable.” *shrieks*

There are too many tips on the Baryonyx so I'm doing it here as well if you use the Baryonyx tail attack on the ammonite the ammonite won't call for help so I suggest using the Baryonyx when hunting ammonites

If ya attack dem, just let da gauntlet of carnivorous water creatures eat ya alive!

You can't take them so you prodly want to kill these.

There not tameable unless you force tame them and if you do on ase you can ride them. They can only use ink and can’t swim up tho
