In order to tame an allosaurus on most maps, you’ll have to find a pack in the highlands/prairie/flatlands. They always spawn in packs of 3 but more can join the group. I’m a group of 2 or more they will choose the highest level allosaurus as the pack leader which gets a buff. If you want to tame a whole pack, you should make either a large trap or multiple normal traps (which hold up to 2 allos) and knock out the pack leader out last so he loses his buff making him easier to knock out. Then begin taming. Also on a separate note they spawn alone or in groups of 2 in the desert of extinction so keep that in mind. My next tip will be on one of the following: wyvern, phoenix, mantis, thorny dragon, or morellatops

For the most part Allosaurs spawn in groups of two or three around redwoods and mountains, usually on the north side of the map. For knocking them out and flying mount you can shoot off works well. Dispose of any lower level Allos and keep the highest one. A stone trap works well too.

Hello I’m the tame helper I’m going to tell you the simplest way to tame a allosaurus first make a 3 by 8 stone trap than shot some tranq arrow and take 3 seconds Between each shot.

These dudes are best in packs, taming it is a challenge but worth it. You'll need a fast/extreme tank dino. it runs fast so you need to be fast with the narc arowws.

Be careful btw beause they will track you down

Ok THIS IS Ark creature is awesome I tamed two and was the best starter Dino EVER.in krakrock they spawn everywhere when taming without a trap is kind of hard cuz they run away when there high on sleeping.So to tame 1 build it build a trap or 2 get on a huge rock/stone where they can’t reach u 1 is risky because there the fastest meat eater I know 2 is hard cuz they run when they about to get knock out meat, prime meat, cooked prime meat and exroanary kibble is make it very easy to tame only 10 secs and done.

You would want to get onto a flying creature and fly onto a big buolder or something like that we’re it can not get you. Use at least a crossbow with tranq arrows. Then you can shoot it down. Make sure you have enough arrows. Once you got it asleep, feed it with meat. Then you should have a Allosaurus! And if you want to ride it, you need to unlock it’s saddle at level 67. Now you can ride your Allo!

If you see one RUN. They are one of the fastest killers and you can only tame them if you have highground

Highly recommend trapping these guys (4 stone dino gates with doors and 1 without a door in a box formation and a large bear trap on the middle inside and once its trapped put the door on the 1 without a door and enjoy knocking out the allo) and if they are in a pack, kill all of them except for the high level or the Alpha. Learned this the hard way and 3 allos attacked me and almost destroyed my already damaged apprentice flak gear from a recent griffin attack. Fun fact The Allosaurus had a bite force of 3.5k N which is weaker than a modern day animal like the Alligator(13k N) or a lion(4.1k N) but the Allosaurus made it up with is serrated teeth made to slash and tear flesh and its incredibly stong upper jaw and if it bites its prey it slams its upper jaw on the body of its prey and tear the flesh from the body and hence the reason why I named mine Slam Jaw.

If u are trying to get them into a trap than know that they agro at f very thing. They also run if their torpor get a little up and they don't f stop

Running plus they are fast and were agile so they are wary hard to hit.

I was on fars peak looking for a doed, and I find a lvl 4 and a lvl 30 (my max) at the base of the mountain, so I got my tranqs out and stood on on of those rocks you can’t mine a shot it, no trap nessacery

I find that if you can find two that are stuck two one another that seems to be the easiest way to tame all three at once.

Well if there are other things that can kill them then there’s no problem getting one alone, “feather brains” feather devil chickens or whatever can kill them and can withstand 2 of them attacking it at the same time…

If you gonna tame 1 keep in mind that they arent always alone most of the time they hunt in groups of 2 or higer
